A fairytale of a beautiful maiden, the beloved Frost Flower Princess was supposed to be staying in the comfort of her castle masquerading as a cage to protect her from the dangers outside, imprisoned by her own brothers.
That is, until a mysterious...

The sleeping princess lay on her side, entirely unaware of the world around her. The dreamscape was silent—until a deep rumble of thunder rolled through it, shattering the calm. Y/n's lashes fluttered, her gaze lifting as she realized she was inside a completely different dream than the last two.
This time, she found herself in the middle of a vast ocean, resting in the shallows. Cool water swirled around her hands and feet, yet not a drop clung to her skin or clothes. Her eyes drifted upward to the churning, cloud-darkened sky. "What an intense storm..." she murmured.
A shout broke through the wind. Y/n turned toward the source and spotted a grand, majestic ship battling against raging tropical waves. Crewmen scrambled across the slick deck, ropes in hand. "Hurricane a'comin'!" one sailor bellowed. "Stand fast! Secure the riggin'!"
A sudden ripple stirred near her tail—someone was moving in the water. Without needing to look, she knew it was close. Moments later, a red-haired mermaid broke the surface, her long hair whipping in the storm wind. She cradled an unconscious human male in her arms, his clothes heavy with seawater.
Y/n rose from the shallows, watching as the mermaid carried him toward shore. The scene shifted—the storm easing into quiet, the sky slowly brightening. The little mermaid now knelt on a sandy beach, the man still in her arms.
Gently, she pressed her ear to his chest. His breathing returned, steady and soft. "Look! He's breathing!" she cried, turning to a bright yellow fish and a red crab who hovered nearby. The man stirred faintly, his eyes beginning to open.
But before he could truly see his rescuer, the sharp sound of barking echoed across the beach. "Eric!" a distant voice called. The mermaid and her companions dove back into the water in an instant, vanishing beneath the waves.
A butler rushed to the man's side, helping him to his feet as a lively dog circled around them, barking. "A girl... rescued me," Eric said dazedly as they made their way toward the palace. "She had the most... beautiful voice..." His words were filled with awe, almost dreamlike.
From behind a large rock, the mermaid watched him leave, her eyes wide with longing. "My heart... oh, how it pounds!" she whispered, pulling herself higher onto the rock, her face glowing with the thrill of first love. "Yes... I know it. The day will soon come... part of your world!" Her smile was radiant, the crashing wave behind her casting her in a vision of untamed beauty and grace.
