A fairytale of a beautiful maiden, the beloved Frost Flower Princess was supposed to be staying in the comfort of her castle masquerading as a cage to protect her from the dangers outside, imprisoned by her own brothers.
That is, until a mysterious...

** Diasomnia Dorm - Lounge
"Tsum!" Sebek barked, voice ringing through the lounge. His tsum stood perfectly still by Malleus's side, posture poised and regal, like a tiny knight.
"The great Malleus, in his infinite kindness, has granted you leave to stand by his side..." Sebek declared, stomping closer. "But I'll be watching you to ensure you don't commit any blunders or inconvenience him in any way. I HAVE NOT ACCEPTED YOU!"

The tsum didn't so much as twitch, its unblinking focus locked on its self-appointed duty.
"Is it even listening to me?!" Sebek sputtered, his voice rising. "The headmage said these things bore a 'striking' resemblance to us, but I fail to see what he meant. I certainly don't trail after our liege like some puppy. I simply stand at attention by his side, so that I may be of immediate service whenever he needs it. You and I are ENTIRELY different! To lump us together merely because of our appearance..."
"Oh no! I was levitating a pot and a teacup to practise for practical magic class..." a nearby Diasomnia student yelped, breaking Sebek's rant. He and his companion were flailing as a pot and teacup hovered unsteadily in the air. "... But I've totally lost control! Watch out for runaway dishware!"
"What was that?!" Sebek's eyes went wide. 'If one of those things shatters, broken shards will fly out all over the place. Malleus could get injured!' he thought in panic. "Malleus, allow me! HRAH!"
Sebek dove forward with impressive speed, catching the pot in his arms.
"No!" he gasped. "I caught the pot, but there's a rogue teacup flying in the opposite direction, out of reach!"
"My liege...!"
Before Sebek could move, his tsum launched forward, floating to Malleus's side and neatly catching the rogue teacup on its tiny head.
"The tsum leapt up and caught the cup neatly on its head!" Sebek stammered, momentarily stunned, before scrambling to Malleus. "Malleus, are you hurt?!"
"Mere teaware wouldn't have done any damage even if it had hit me." Malleus said with a calm, amused smile. "But you averted the situation before it became an issue, did you not?"
Sebek stiffened, torn between pride and indignation. "... As much as it shames me to admit, I only caught the pot. It was the tsum who stepped up and caught the cup that I couldn't."
