"I'm getting hungry again..." Y/n pouted, her hands resting on the table as her stomach gave an audible grumble.
"Of course you are, mon lapine," Vanitas sighed dramatically, pinching her cheeks until she squeaked. "You're hopeless."
"Vanitas~ stop..." she whined, puffing her cheeks.
"If you're that hungry..." Vanitas tilted his head, voice dropping to a low, silky tone as he tugged his collar aside—revealing his pale neck marked with a few faint hickeys and one fresh from earlier. "I don't mind allowing you to drink from me once—"
"We've now established that, while people cannot enter or leave, we can transfer objects through this window." Riddle cut in sharply, his tone deliberately loud.
Vanitas's head snapped toward him, glaring daggers. "You're awfully quick to interrupt, mon cher juge."

Riddle only smiled coolly, feigning innocence. "We're finally making progress," he said, grinning mischievously at Vanitas's growing irritation.
Trein's voice came through clearly from outside. "Mmhm. Having supplies brought in through a specific window is another part of the Princess in the Tower. That makes it even more likely this is a reenactment of that tale," He adjusted his posture, addressing the students inside. "We may be able to glean something from this information. I'll apprise the headmage at once," e took out his phone, speaking with practiced composure. "Hello. Headmage, we've learned something..."
Back inside, Kalim leaned cheerfully over the table. "I'm still not totally clear on what's going on, but at least we can get meal baskets now!" he said with his usual grin.
"Mhm mhm!" Y/n nodded vigorously, stars in her eyes already.
"Yeah. Thanks to you opening that window, we won't have to worry about food." Deuce said, visibly relieved.
"And Y/n wouldn't have to drink Vanitas's blood. This is such excellent news. The best news I've heard all day," Isfrid's voice came from outside one of the closest windows, practically gleaming with satisfaction.
He was grinning ear-to-ear, much too proud of himself. Beside him, Noé stood with a blank, unimpressed expression, hands tucked into his pockets.
