At the end of the second week of May, Aelan soon gave birth. It was at midnight when her cry drew the attention of all the supernatural beings in the forest, the wolves soon approached Rêverie's home on guard for whatever might come out of Aelan's womb.

A portal soon appeared in the middle of the living room of the Cullen residence, revealing a disheveled Dashiel calling out to Magnus and a fast-moving Rêverie in the background.

“Worauf wartest du?! Oh Scheiße! Magnus! Viens ici, putain! (What are you waiting for?! Fuck! Magnus! Come here, shit!)”

Rêverie's agitated voice could be heard perfectly above Dashiel's desperate calls.

“She knows that in my four hundred years I've never been a doctor, right?”

“I don't think she cares right now,” Dashiel spoke.

“Non me ne frega un cazzo! (I don't give a shit!)”

“Yep. Not interested,” Dashiel smiled awkwardly, pulling Magnus through the portal. “Sorry for waking you up. We'll give him back in a few hours,” he promised before closing the portal behind him.

The members of the Cullen clan looked confused at the young man's words, wake them up? If they couldn't sleep.

“What's going on?” Narumi asked from the living room doorway, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

“Looks like Aelan is about to give birth.”

“Oh... and why aren't you sleeping?”

“Honey, we can't sleep, remember?”

“Yes you can,” she yawned, “I never told you about the changes you'd have!”

Narumi's eyes widened as she realized this detail and all the sleepiness in her face disappeared.

“In addition to regaining your former appearance, you are able to sleep and eat as before. And I think Rêverie mentioned something about there being a possibility of pregnancy…” she murmured thoughtfully.

“What did you say?”

Rosalie's voice sounded shaky as her eyes filled with tears that would never fall.

“One of the races that are part of the blood of Rêverie can bear children, but that doesn't mean you can. Or, if you can, the chances are very small.”

Rosalie's hopeful eyes would not allow her to tell him that another of the races had no women, so that slim chance of pregnancy could go straight to zero.
