    "No way"

Macy exclaimed as I finished telling her about what happened with Benny and Jonathan last night, and the conversation between me and Benny. I knew she was going to freak out and most likely tell everyone, but I didn't care. I had to talk to someone, she was my best friend, how could I not tell her?

"I know! I don't know what to do, should I talk to Jonathan? Should Benny talk to him? Should I just leave it be or will that only make it worse?"

I had woken up with a hangover and this was only making the throbbing in my head more persistent.

"Addy, listen to me. Evrything is going to be fine. I think you should just leave everything be for today, see how it is, see how everyone acts, and if there's cause for concern, talk to them. But it's our last day here, lets just relax and enjoy today, alright?"

"Yeah okay. You're right. Thanks." She nodded firmly and got up off my bed we we had been sitting.

"Right, now get dressed. And choose warm clothes, I think nature is giving you a little birthday gift." She grinned and pointed to the window. I walked over and pulled the heavy curtains open, revealing a winter wonderland of snow and ice. I gasped and jumped a little, Macy squealing behind me.

I had always loved snow ever since I was 3 and me and mom made our first snowman—along with a few other additions to the family. I immediately ran to my bag, yanked out some clothes, and shut myself in the bathroom. When I came back out, Macy and I were dressed head to toe in chic winter gear. I entered the hall and started banging on doors, waking everyone up. It was early, about 8:35, but there wasn't a second to waste.

Jamie and Benny, Julia, and Quentin and Markus exited their rooms, groggy and annoyed.

"Jesus Adelaide, I figured you of all people would be sleeping in late." Markus yawned. I grabbed his and Quentin's hands, dragging them over to a window. They were surprised to see it was snowing and perked up.

"Snow! Now get dressed, we're going outside." I ordered. They both groaned a little but went back to their room and started to change. So did the others and Macy and I worked on waking everyone else.

Once we had all changed, we clomped down the stairs in our boots and coats and gloves, flooding the lobby, and heading straight for the door. When we broke out into the icy air, I gasped, the freezing temperature immediately turning my ears and nose red. I looked up and closed my eyes, spinning in the two feet of cold white fluff.

"Careful Adelaide, Jack Frost seems to like you!" Andrew teased as he pulled my hat down over my eyes. I grin and pull my hat back up, bending down and scooping up a heap of snow, packing it, and hurling it at his back. He stopped cold and slowly turned with an evil smile forming on his dimpled cheeks. He quickly fired a snowball at me, directly in the face, and after the shock wore off I burst out laughing.

Teams began to form, people defending my honor, others getting hit in the crosshairs and siding with Andrew. We launched snowballs at each other for a while until one team finally won and we sat on the icy ground, exhausted, gleeful.

"I didn't know you had such a good throwing arm, Jamie." Chris said as we all tried to catch our breath.

"Oh yeah. That's from my pro snowballing days." He joked. Macy giggled and a few others laughed too, but I had gotten up and was looking out over the grounds of the hotel.

"Hey guys, you think there's any place to ice skate here?" I asked. Julia stood up next to me and cocked her head to the side.

"Not sure. Probably, you wanna ask the front desk?"
