Victoria was ill on Wednesday, but she was slightly better. Not well enough to have sex, or to dance, but well enough to open her presents. Take what you can Y/N you thought.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTORIA!" You shouted. "Happy Birthday, your ladyship." John smiled, walking in beside you. "Oh you two! Thank you so much!" Victoria grinned. She sat herself up and she shone. "May we do presents?" You questioned. John nodded in agreement. "Presents? I'd love to!" Victoria agreed, with an excited smile.

John passed Victoria a bottle bag and card. "Again, happy birthday." He smiled. Victoria put her glasses on and opened the card. "Thank you John. You are a good friend." She complimented, warmly. "Thank you."

The wine was one of Victoria's all time favourites and bloody expensive too. "Grab us some glasses!" She commanded. "Ma'am, it's probably not a good idea whilst you're still pretty ill." John suggested. "We should wait for a special occasion, right Y/N!" He hinted. FRIDAY! You were going to surprise Victoria with a homemade birthday meal, albeit a few days late. This wine would be perfect. "I agree!" "Outvoted I see." Victoria teased. "Open mine, open mine!" You beamed.

"Which gift first?" Asked Victoria. "The small one." You replied. She ripped the wrapping off - John collected it in his bottle bag - and opened the box.

The first present was a necklace, a gold chain with a pearly decoration. It was very much something that screamed Victoria when you saw it. It begged and pleaded and demanded that you give it to your lady.

"Y/N!" Victoria gasped. "Oh love it's gorgeous, thank you so so much!" She cried. "I'm glad you like it!" You smiled. She clipped it on and played with it in her hands. "Oh! The other one!" She remembered. That gift was a little bit more personal. Maybe a step too far.

"Did you sew this?" She asked

"Did you sew this?" She asked. "Yeah." You nodded. "I- I've noticed you've been having trouble sleeping, so I though that you might like someone to hug. I know I can't be with you whilst you're ill so she doubles up as a temporary Y/N." You rambled. You felt uncomfortable, like she might not like it. Like you made a mistake and put more salt in the wound. Reading this, Victoria placed her hand on your shoulder. "That's really considerate darling. I love the presents." She smiled.

"I need John to drive me so I can run some errands. Is there anything either of us can get you before we go?" You asked. They weren't really errands, per say. That was unless you counted asking an old friend to help you learn to make bread for the meal. John was the one running errands. He had to pick up his dry cleaning, but Victoria didn't need to know that. "No no, I'm alright." Vic smiled, blowing you a kiss. "Have fun love!"

Friday couldn't have come slower if it tried.
