"Are you going in or not ma'am?" John asked, getting extremely frustrated. "Yes. I- I'm gonna go." Victoria said, looking at the old building as though it was about to devour her. "Good. I'll see you later."
She changed her mind after he left.
They locked eyes.
Yvette.
Hanging around the smoking area wasn't something Yvie was prone to, but there she was. She was a drinker, not a smoker. She was yelling at some lackeys in suits, a near empty glass in her manicured hand. Her thick blonde hair, usually tied up in a bun, was flowing down to her chest. Victoria loathed her desire to gawk at said chest. You are in a happy relationship! Pull yourself together, Victoria! She mentally chastised, before going to walk in.
"Yvie?" Called a voice from the doorway. Out strode Elizabeth, with a glass far more full, one that definitely wasn't her first.
Yvette and Elizabeth stood in the smoking area which was strange. Neither would touch a cigarette, if they could so help it.
"Agatha, I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother." Yvette cooed, with a kindness that made Victoria's chest pang with longing. Yvie- Yvette used to talk to her like that. She used to be kind and sweet.

Contraband in a boarding school was commonplace. Everyone had something. Objects of sentiment, makeup, hard candies, the like. Even precious Agatha snuck in things she wasn't allowed.
Victoria snuck in hair dye.
—
The girl who discovered Victoria's poliosis was called Pheobe Munro. She was one of the early Lizzie goons.
-
Pheobe screamed.
"Pheebs? What's up?" Elizabeth asked, applying some contraband eyeliner. "There's a skunk!" Pheobe wailed, sarcastically. Victoria, subconsciously, toyed with her hair. "What are you talking about?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "Look at Victoria's hair!"
Elizabeth stared at the wispy white strands hidden among the hot chocolate hair.
"You're a little skunk!"
—
Yvette used to sneak Victoria's hair dye. She used to keep an eye out when Victoria put the warm chocolate dye on her white roots.

Even though her witch of a mother looked like a rat crossed with a warthog, Agatha Hardgreaves came out a remarkably pretty young woman. She was tall, lanky and could use a slice of cake or two, but she was conventionally, a good looking girl. She was quiet, too quiet when compared to her companion, Eliza, but she had her mothers deadly side. One wrong move and she could make your life hell.
That explained why the two of them were at the smoking area. Agatha smoked like a freight train, even whilst they were in school.
"Thanks Yvette." She replied, huskily. A cloud of smoke flowed around her. It wasn't mysterious, more a sign of her decaying lungs. "I'm going to miss her." She added. "She was a good woman." Yvette replied. Well that was bullshit.
"I can see a woman that's far from good." Elizabeth quipped.
All six eyes stared at Victoria.
