The only thing you hated about your job was getting up at 5 AM on the dot. Victoria was one of those strange people who were obsessed with getting up as stupidly early as possible.

As per usual, you don't particularly want to get up.

"Y/N! Up! Now!" Victoria shouted. She was fully changed and almost ready to go. She usually tried to keep you in bed as long as possible. "Give me a minute!" You groaned. Victoria was having none of your bull crap, so she whipped off the bedsheets. "Up!" She barked. "If you so badly require it, sleep in the car." She huffed.

Once you'd changed, you came back in to see that Victoria was at her vanity applying lipstick. "Which shade of red today?" You asked. "What do you mean? I always wear the same shade." "What? Whore Red?" You teased. "Major Red if you must know." She quipped. "Why'd you keep all the rest? You probably have dozens. Firecracker Red. Power Red. Vampiric Ecstasy. Rich Carmine." You teasingly read several red lipstick names. "I guess you don't really care about my lipstick until it's on a hickey on that pale neck of yours, Y/N." Victoria said, placing the tube back on her vanity. "I, for one, don't give a damn what you wear on your face." You said, blatantly, beginning to style Victoria's hair. "You're good to me, Y/N." She sighed, blushing profoundly.

She inspected her hair. "Good." She nodded. "We have to go." You stated, grabbing John's present and marching down the corridor.

"Y/N!"

"Y/N WAIT FOR ME!"

Storming behind you and screaming the house down, was Victoria. You picked up the pace, giggling.

She caught up and pinned you against the wall.

"You cheeky bitch!" She teased, brushing your hair out of your face with her hands. She pressed against your face, smearing her rich red lipstick over your lips.

You two weren't late, obviously. All those others were early.

"She just said there was some person she thought could be of use." Shrugged Estella. "I don't trust her." Jasper shook his head. "If I'm honest, neither do I, but this Elizabeth woman sounds like someone I could use."

You don't actually do anything important in meetings. You just sit with Victoria and draw. As her assistant, you just act as an errand girl. Very much similar to what you used to do.

"Y/N, darling, can I have some coffee? You know from that little down the road?" Victoria asked pushing her glasses up her sharp nose and pulling some documents towards her.

Victoria smiled. "You know what I like. Get yourself something too." She opened her desk draw and passed you her purse. It was a pale crème and was near definitely designer. "Love you!" You smiled, before opening the door. "You too, darling."

"My name is Cruella."

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I hear you'd like to take The Baroness down?"

Flat White with skinny milk, no sugar and a decaf tea with oat milk. You grabbed the little cardboard cup holder, thanked the barista and put some change from your coat pocket into the tip jar.

Walking back to work, you went past a restaurant. It was a very cushy place, you'd spent a couple of evenings here before. Sitting in the booth were three familiar faces.

"Victoria!" You yelled, running in. You put the coffee down and attempted to calm yourself down. "Darling, darling, speak to me! What's happened?" Victoria grasped your shaking hands. "L- L- Cr- Cr- Cl- Cl-" you stuttered. "Sit." Commanded Victoria.

"What has happened?"

"CruellanadClaudiaandLizzieareallhavinglunchandIthinkthatLizziewilltellthemaboutyourchildhoodand- and-" you blurted. It took a few seconds for Victoria to register your hardly coherent mumbling. She went white. "Where?" She asked. "Th- that cushy little restaurant next to the corner shop." You replied.

Victoria paced her office massaging her temples. You followed around like a puppy. "This isn't good!" "Obviously not!" "She's going to come after the box!" "You don't know that!" "She could ruin everything and-"

John walked humming a song to himself.

"Hey ladies, I was wondering-" "GET OUT JOHN!" Victoria screamed. He looked Victoria in the eyes, flipped her the bird and walked out muttering under his breath about his foul luck. "Fuck you." Was all you heard.

Victoria froze, her heart plummeting. She didn't mean to snap...
