AN: Baroness angst

"My marriage to the Baron was more of a business exchange than a marriage." Victoria sighed. She began to pace the room, rubbing her temples as she spoke. "All the other girls at school were jealous that Hans desired me. They were all obsessed with betrothing, wedding, conceiving and birthing and conceiving and birthing and conceiving and birthing until they were no better then some animal." The Baroness sneered. "I wanted a life. I wanted to do what I loved. I never got that." She sighed.
"Because of him?"
Victoria nodded. "I remember our wedding night. Lying there whilst he was 'trying to put a baby in me'. He did that a lot, sprung on me begging me to let him fertilise me." She sighed. "My body wasn't cooperating apparently and Hans hated me for it." The Baroness hugged her stomach. "Not having Cruella earlier made my so called fairytale life far far worse."
"He used to beat me behind closed doors. Scream at me whenever that time of the month rolled around until I cried. This was well placed. He did it after all the staff were gone. My lashing out made me the villain. He was a soft and kind man and I was a beast." You'd seen how the staff at Hellman Hall feared Victoria. How they looked at her and flinched.
"I admit I had a bit of a tantrum when I found out I was pregnant with Cruella and for the majority of my pregnancy, I despised my child." Victoria had now sat with you. You could see where Cru had inherited Victoria's beautiful eyes. "Why?" You asked. "Like I said, I don't gain weight well. Not only was she the spawn of my awful husband, but she made me look- she made me- lo-"
Though you had been rather disturbed by the revelations of the evening, you knew that you loved Victoria no matter what. Your lady needed support. "You do understand you could balloon up or shrink down and I would love you no matter what, don't you?" You questioned. Vicky hugged you. "Thank you so much, darling." She whispered. "So, how about when Cru was born? Did you put her up for adoption or something?"
"I nursed Cruella for a little bit, seeing as the Baron was away on business." She didn't call him Hans. "I tried Y/N, I really did, but I hated it so so much! She was him! All him! It was as though I trapped myself more every time I fed that damned child." She wasn't as angry as she usually was when Cruella was brought up. "So I asked John to get rid of her."
"Get rid of it!" She cried, begging him. "Ma'am, I cannot kill a child!" John stumbled back, startled. "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO JOHN I NEED IT GONE! TELL HIM IT WAS A MISCARRIAGE FOR ALL I CARE!" Sobbed the hysterical woman. "It would ruin his lordship!" He demanded. "HE RUINED ME!" "Pardon me?" "HE FORCED THIS UPON ME! YOU DON'T SEE THE HANS I SEE! I- I- I CAN'T JOHN!" The Baroness sobbed. "I don't understand?" "I AM HIS BROODMARE!" "You aren't a broodmare, darling!" "I AM HIS BREEDING SOW!" "Victoria-" "PLEASE JUST GET RID OF ESTELLA! Whatever you need to do..."
You wanted not to pry more because you were worried that you'd get scared away, or destroy Victoria or both. "Victoria?" You asked, softly. "Yeah?" She whispered. "I love you..." you hugged her. She squeaked. "I- I love you too..."
As you dozed off, she kissed your forehead. When she thought you were asleep, you swore you could hear her whisper, "I don't deserve her..."
