It had been a few nights since the Cruella revelation and the Baroness' birthday was on Wednesday. Monday morning, you woke up late. Victoria played the human alarm usually, but you rolled over to see it was 5:15. You were due in in 15 minutes time. But Victoria wasn't next to you, she went to bed early last night.

"John! Is Victoria up?" You asked, adjusting your hair. "She's come down with a bad cold, I'll pick you up something to eat on the way." John said, rushing you to the car.

The day felt wrong. You didn't want to be away from Victoria when she was ill. The second your lunch break began, you ran into town to grab everything your wounded little dove needed.

Chamomile tea, she doesn't like the taste of mint flavoured tea.

Fuzzy socks, she'll put them on herself, she doesn't like people touching her feet.

Lavender oil to put on her pillows because it helps her sleep.

Tissues, lots of tissues, the soft kind so they don't get scratchy on her nose.

"Victoria?" You knocked on the door. The weak reply, married with sneezing, invited you in. "Come in poppet!"

She was curled up in bed, looking gloomy but she immediately lit up when she saw you. "Oh Victoria, you poor thing..." you cooed. "I've brought you some tea and tissues and socks." You raised the shopping bag. "I'll look at it in a minute love, I'm going to the bathroom."

Perfect!

Operation Lavender is a go!

Victoria wouldn't let you put 'that essential oils hippie crap' on her pillow, so you'd have to sneak it in. It does help her, puts her out like a light when she struggles to sleep. You took the cap off and shook in the oil and waited for it to work it's magic.

"Would you mind giving my feet a rub, pumpkin? They're sore..." Victoria asked. "I thought you hate people touching your feet?" You thought aloud. "You should know by now that you are an exception to most rules." Laughed the Baroness.

Once you had sorted Victoria's aches and pains you brewed your lady her tea. "Are you looking forward to Wednesday?" You asked. "If I'm not still ill, I'm sure it'll be lovely."

Oh god she could be still ill!

Because you'd always known her as a tough cookie, you thought this was one of those one day bugs. You wanted to spend her birthday spoiling her, cooking for her, dancing with her and having sex with her. That wouldn't be recommended if she was ill, wouldn't it?

Victoria coughed.

"Darling, can I ask you something?" Victoria asked. "Sure?" You told yourself to prepare for another deep conversation. For more intimate secrets and stories from Victoria's life. "Could you pick my copy of Little Women up from in the library? I've been in the mood to have a bit of a reading session seeing as I'm bed bound for now." An excuse to go to the library! "Oh sure. Where is it?" You replied. "Don't be an idiot Y/N, you know where my library is!" "I mean the book, Vicky."

Turn left, three shelves along, two shelves down, top shelf in the middle.

Victoria had given you very specific instructions on where to locate Little Women and had stated that you could, "Pick yourself up something too, darling!"

You didn't find Little Women, but you did find a ring bound sketchbook...
