John brought Estella home, seeing as she felt better once she rested. You still had a runny nose, but you were better now. Victoria could ask you questions now.

"Y/N." She began, coldly. "Yes, honey?" You chirped. "I saw Madeline Green last night." She stated. You gasped with joy. "That's nice!" You smiled. "She said that the two of you had no plans to meet." Victoria said.

You had no protection. If you told Victoria the truth, your surprise would be ruined. If you lied, she would accuse you of cheating.

"Essie was going to help me get you a surprise." You said. Specifics could still be hidden. "Oh the classic surprise excuse!" She barked. "I felt guilty after not getting you anything after the 'no presents' thing!" You pleaded. "Oh SURE! And you had to use Maddie as an EXCUSE?" She was boiling up with anger.

"WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? YOU EXPLODE AT HER WHEN SHE ASKS FOR A SLITHER OF EMPATHY!" You screamed. "BECAUSE SHE IS THE BARON!" Victoria replied. Victoria didn't feel like chasing you, so the two of you left the other to their respective complaining.
