"It is a pleasure to have you all here this evening! As your friend," you aren't my friend "and your fellow alumni, I'd like to say a few words." I would too. I, fucking, hate and you are four of them!

As Elizabeth droned on and on like a broken record, Victoria scanned her eyes across the room. Her eyes traveled through the webs of the bullied, the foul and the tolerable enough before accidentally meeting Yvette. Her stomach fell over the cliff as Cathrine Miller and so many others had.

"Have you ever been on the roof?" Yvette asked, with that look in her eyes. She was gorgeous and her smile made her eyes light up. "The roof?" Victoria asked, mischievously. "Yeah. I've been up there a few times. Care to join me?" She asked clambering out of the window.

Victoria was never suited for that sort of activity but when she eventually got onto the roof in one piece, much to Yvette's amusement.

The stars hung over the two of them.

"I wish that we didn't have to get married." Yvette said.  "Huh?" Victoria looked at her friend confused. "I don't want to be bound to some dude for the rest of my life y'know!" She sighed. "You make a good point Yvie. I don't particularly want that either..."

She wished she could tell Yvette what she really wanted...

"And I would like to offer my condolences to my dear friend Agatha. Headmistress Hardgreaves left a mark on all of us." That made several people grumble. Not everyone was as fortunate as her when it came to punishing sprees. She had left physical marks on several. "But that lady changed me for the better. She welcomed me into her home. I ate at her table. God rest her soul and may her daughter, my most dear friend, take her place as a most talented police inspector."

Eventually, Elizabeth wrapped her speech up and Victoria's question burned once more.

"Madeline!" She shouted, grabbing her shoulder. "Yeah?" Maddie replied. "Was Y/N planning to meet with you yesterday?" She asked. Maddie shook her head. "No. We weren't planning anything, why?" Victoria audibly gasped, with a mix of pain and fury.

"She lied to me..."
