The skies were blue and filled with clouds, the perfect weather for a celebration. You stared at the streets of the capital. Today was quite a busy day, and its streets were filled with different kinds of vehicles. Alhaitham was the one driving. He drove a van to the Akademiya, knowing the day would most likely end with a celebration. And it would be better if you all rode in one vehicle.
Your jaw rested on your fist as you leaned onto the window. The atmosphere wasn't silent enough to be able to fall asleep, considering the fact that Aether and Cyno were playing TCG. Tighnari was seated in the front, next to Alhaitham. Not wanting to be anywhere near those two.
Dehya and Nilou were sitting near me, were watching the two play for amusement. Alhaitham was discussing something with Tighnari. Their voices weren't loud, and you didn't bother trying to listen to their conversation.
Your thoughts were about to wander off your what your dad would say when you get home. But before you could, you noticed that Alhaitham was now driving in the parking lot. You stared confused at the empty parking lot. You knew this restaurant was quite famous, so you were expecting it to be busy.
The van stops as Alhaitham successfully parked it. "We're here." He announced.
You heard Aether groan from the back as he and Cyno finished their game. Cyno being the one to win.All of you got out of the van, Alhaitham making sure to lock it before leading you all to the entrance. A guard opened the door for all of you. You all immediately noticed that there were only staff around. Aether was the first to question this.
"Are we early or what? Isn't this place filled with customers daily?" Before anyone could say anything, a waiter walked to Alhaitham before greeting him and talking about the reservation. The moment he left, Dehya asked him a question.
"Why isn't there any other guest around?" She raises a brow at him. "Yeah, isn't this place like famous famous?" Aether adds.
"Oh? Didn't you guys ask me to reserve a place?" You all looked at him in disbelief.
"Yeah, we meant a table. Don't tell us you booked the whole place." Tighnari says, hands on his hips.
"I did." Alhaitham nonchalantly states. There was silence followed by eyes widening. "WHA-" He cuts all off, "Keep it down, we're in a public place."
