Your eyes gaze at the rectangular device as your index finger swipes through the pages of the digital journal. It has been a few days since you returned to the main city.

Originally, you were reading through study materials rather than scanning the pictures on the digital journal he gifted you. You no longer recall how your hands reached out for it. Perhaps it was the fear of forgetting those memories the longer you waited, that tempted you.

You tilt your jaw to rest it on top of your fist as pictures reflect on your sad eyes. You couldn't help but wonder if he told you sooner, would things be different?

"Reminiscing about him again?" You flinched after hearing Kaveh's voice. You turned your office chair around and saw the blond leaning against your door frame with his arms crossed.

"What are you doing here?" The blond sighs before entering your room.

"I knocked on your door and you didn't answer. Now I know why."

You leaned towards your chair, inclining it a bit. "Just get straight to the point, Kaveh."

The blond was suddenly next to you and his eyes landed on the digital journal. "I have to admit, that digital journal was a great idea. Next thing you know, their company will be announcing their first prototype for sale."

You deadpanned and he cleared his throat. "Let's go out? My treat. You've been stuck in your room the whole day and it's already 5 pm!"

Your hands closed the book you were reading earlier before you reached out to turn off the rectangular screen on your desk and the 3D book disappeared. You turned your head back to Kaveh. "And where exactly are we going?"

The blond paused and seemed to be thinking. "Let's go to the cafe you've been visiting. You said you liked their best-selling drink, right?"

Your eyes stared at him in confusion. "I thought you didn't wanna visit that cafe ‘cause Yumi owns it?"

Your mind recalled the time you got home and told Kaveh the cafe you visited was owned by Yumi, he freaked out and made theories and ways he thought she could harm you.
