You wandered through the streets of Sumeru all on your own. Your birthday happened a few days ago, yet the kiss still lingers in your mind every now and then, causing your cheeks to flush red.

You were still quite confused as to why you didn't stop the kiss from happening. You originally reasoned that you were afraid of Kaveh blackmailing you, or was it because of the unconfirmed feelings you had?

You shake your head to get rid of your thoughts as you stop at the newest cafe that has just opened and caught your attention after seeing a post through social media. You went on your own since your friends were quite busy today. Inviting Alhaitham would just make your thoughts about the kiss, worse.

After ordering the food, you decided to sit outside since there were umbrellas on top of the tables to protect you from the sun.

As you sat outside, you scrolled through social media while waiting for what you ordered when all of a sudden, you got a gut feeling that you were being watched.

Nervously, you looked around and saw no one. You tried to shake the feeling off and looked at the window of the cafe and saw that your order was being served.

You walked back inside the cafe to take your food and returned to your table outside after. You sat after placing your tray down, making sure to take pictures afterward.

You removed your food from the tray after taking pictures. A confused look on your face formed after seeing a folded piece of paper underneath the tray. You unfold the paper to see what it was inside and suddenly, the feeling of being watched returned.

"Trust your gut feeling, Y/n."

Your eyes widened after reading it. Your name was written in red ink. You quickly folded the paper and held it tightly in your hand before placing your food back on the tray. You nervously walked back inside the cafe and found a table to sit at. You placed the tray down, reaching for your phone as your body entered flight or fight mode.

Were you being stalked? You tried to shake the feeling off but failed. You unlocked your phone and immediately went through your contacts. You couldn't call your father, he was having an important meeting today. Your friends had errands to run today and the only person that you thought wasn't running an errand was Alhaitham.
