A ray of sunlight bats your face, making your eyes flutter open. You sit up and stretch your arms as a yawn escapes from you, except there is something wrong.

Your eyes shot fully opened after realizing, this wasn't your room. Your eyes scanned your surroundings. There was a small couch that fit two people, and your favorite cardigan lay on top of it. There was a small suitcase near the bed along with a floor lamp.

You stopped at the window. Your eyes were met with the sight of the ocean waters clashing with the shore. The crystal clear blue waters were glistening under the sun.

'The beach?' You wondered before you flipped the covers. Your feet met the cold wooden floors before you slowly walked towards the long white curtains that hid the door.

Your hands reach out for the curtains and move them to the side. There were wooden stairs that led to more wooden floors, and a table on one side with breakfast; It gave you more confusion. You were in a cabin on the beach, except you don't recall coming here.

Your eyes looked around you again. You were indeed at the beach. Your eyes land on a figure near the shore. He wore a white dress shirt along with light blue linen shorts. His back was facing you while he was near the waters; it was nearly touching his feet.

You squint your eyes while taking another step forward. Your eyes widened in disbelief as a soft gasp left your lips. You recognize that hairstyle, that hair color, that figure. You could forever recognize it even if nearly half a decade has passed since you last saw him.

"Alhaitham..?" You whispered out. Before you knew it, you were already running in his direction. You didn't bother wasting time by looking for your footwear, hence your feet made contact with the rough sand.

You halted when he suddenly turned to face you. His turquoise eyes that you adorned so much made contact with yours that were threatening to pool with tears. There was a two-meter distance that was preventing your body from his.
