A circle of friends sitting in the waiting room or Sumeru's Hospital all thought the same thing without saying a word. That is being, "This night can't possibly take another turn."

Well, their thoughts were proven incorrect by the sudden sound of heavy and rushed footsteps entering the waiting room.

Most of them were too occupied in their deep thoughts to notice whose footsteps those were, except a certain white-haired male. His Crimson eyes shifted towards the entrance of the waiting room, it didn't take more than a second before they went wide.

His actions were followed by a crimson-haired female with ocean-like eyes as she gaped at the entrance.

"Is my lack of sleep making me see things or is Alhaitham actually here?" Her question was enough to snap everyone out of their thoughts, making their attention shift to the entrance.

There, stood a tall, yet familiar man with silver hair and unique teal eyes due to his orange irises. He was breathing heavily as his arm held a black coat. Next to him was an unfamiliar man to them. He too, was breathing heavily as his palms rested on his knees.

"Alhaitham?!" The yell of a blond with golden eyes echoed in the room.

"No, I don't think you're hallucinating, Nilou." Dehya's eyes bore into Alhaitham's figure. No matter how many times she blinked, he didn't disappear.

"Archons, you finally slowed down..." The ginger-haired male behind him panted.

Before his breathing could steady, Alhaitham walked further and stopped in front of the group sitting near each other.

"Where is she?" He breathed out, his voice filled with concern and fear.

Some turned to look at each other's eyes, not knowing what to tell him. Kaveh's teary crimson eyes glanced at him before shifting back to the floor. He couldn't afford to be shocked by Alhaitham's sudden appearance.
