No one is dying in this chapter, but something will break🥰 this is the hardest chapter I had to write so far cause I had to do research just for this to make sense.

"Ehsan's missing?! How?!" Your father's voice rang through your ears but you were too busy scanning the message multiple times, horrified.

'It's my fault he's missing. It's my fault-' the same thought kept circling in your head. Slowly, you felt a pair of arms reach for you and suddenly, Kaveh's voice reached your ears.

"Y/n?" He shook your arms lightly, trying to snap you back to reality. You were having a panic attack and he could see it. You were breathing heavily, trembling, cold sweat running.

"I-it's my fault-" a voice so small came out from you.

Everyone's attention shifted to your figure. Your father immediately reaches out for your shoulder. Kaveh's hands left yours to give your father some space. "Y/n? What's going on?"

Your eyes met your father's concerned ones. "The stalker- he has Ehsan- he warned me and I didn't listen." A sob escapes from you.

Your brother's face frowned along with Kaveh's. "Stalker?" They spoke at the same time.

Your father looks up and eyes everyone in the room. "No one is leaving this room until everything's explained." His eyes landed on Zahra and a glare was shot at her.

His grip on your shoulder was soft, but his body was tense. He asked in a soft voice with a faint trace of fear in it. "Can you explain what's going on?"

You suck back a shuddering tearful breath. "A few days after my birthday, I went out on my own to check out a newly opened cafe and I felt like I was being watched, but when I looked around, no one besides me was there. I was sitting at the tables outside the cafe that time."

"When I went back inside to take the food that I ordered, the stalker left a note on my table. The message on the note was 'Trust your gut feeling, Y/n." And my name was in Red. I freaked out immediately and called Alhaitham 'cause you had back-to-back meetings that day."
