Mr Darcy and Elizabeth froze they had been caught in a comprising position by three people even though they were just talking.Mr Lucas and Miss Charlotte had seen them in an embrace before but said nothing as no one was around but Sir Lucas was a very traditional man.
"What are you doing with my god daughter"Sir Lucas nearly yelled
"It is not what it looks like sir"Mr Darcy tried to explain as he stood up
"Then what are you doing with your chest and her knees"Sir Lucas said still pissed
"I was comforting her"Mr Darcy tried to explain again
"You are in view of the house you are unworthy of her but you better marry her"Sir Lucas said stepping between them"or else guns at dawn"
"Sir he had no dishonourable intentions"Elizabeth tried to sooth the situation
"He may not of but he better marry you now"
"I will marry her"Mr Darcy said"if she agrees"
"What do you think my answer will be Mr Darcy"Elizabeth turned to him forgetting everyone around them
"I hope....it's a .........Yes?"
"Well"

"Yes!!!"
"Oh thank god"
Mr Darcy wanted to take Elizabeth in his arms and never let go of her ever but he was aware there being a very still pissed man next to them so he kissed her hand."I will go to London tomorrow and get a special license we can be wed before the weeks out"Mr Darcy said
"Yes I would like that"
"Good now back up to the house"Sir Lucas said calming down.
Mr Darcy offered her his arm on the way back to the house were Jane waited and when she received the news of the engagement she almost knocked Elizabeth over.Mr Bingley was delighted at the news of Mr Darcy and Elizabeth's and soon wrote to his sister Mrs Hurst(Who had left with Mr Hurst a week prior to go to London)
