Two years had passed in the blink of an eye. Through every obstacle, every laugh and every tear, you and Taehyung had found a rhythm—a dance of love that only grew stronger with time.
You had built something beautiful together, a bond that no one could ever break. Each morning, as the sun filtered through the windows, you woke up next to him, your heart swelling with the realization of how lucky you were to have found each other.
In the evenings, you shared quiet dinners, deep conversations, and the occasional playful squabble, all of which only made you cherish him more.
There were small moments that made you fall deeper in love with him every day: when he'd surprise you with your favorite flowers after a long day, the way he would patiently listen to you vent, or the simple, loving way he would kiss your forehead before heading off to work.
And then there was Yejoon—the little boy who had transformed your life. His laughter filled the house, and his bright eyes reminded you every day of how lucky you were to be a part of this family.
Yejoon, now three years old, had started school. He was so full of energy, his innocence and curiosity never ceasing to amaze you.
Taehyung had turned out to be an amazing father, always encouraging Yejoon's curiosity, playing with him, and teaching him everything he could.
As a family, you had created a world where love, laughter, and learning were cherished above all else.
Today was Saturday, and it was Taehyung's turn to pick up Yejoon from school. You stood by the window, a smile playing on your lips as you waited for them to return. The door swung open, and the sound of little footsteps echoed through the house.
"Mom!" Yejoon shouted excitedly, running into your arms. "I got a sticker today!" He proudly held up his hand, showing off a colorful star sticker.
You laughed, kneeling to embrace him. "That's amazing, Yejoon! I'm so proud of you." You planted a kiss on his cheek, his giggles filling your heart with warmth.
Taehyung, walking behind him, raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. He sulked dramatically, making exaggerated motions of being ignored. "Wow, thanks for the attention, Y/N. I see how it is."
You smiled playfully, glancing at him. "You're jealous of a three-year-old?"
"I'm just saying, I pick him up, and this is the reception I get?" He gave a mock pout, leaning against the doorframe. "I might have to take back all the nice things I do for you."
Yejoon, always ready to have a little fun at his dad's expense, giggled and pointed at Taehyung. "Daddy's funny!" He made a face at his father, scrunching his nose. "But daddy's also silly!"
Taehyung chuckled, ruffling his son's hair. "Hey! You watch your mouth, little man," he said, pretending to be serious. "I'll show you silly!"
You couldn't help but laugh at their banter, the joy of these simple moments never getting old. You ushered Yejoon to his room to freshen up while Taehyung went to grab his things. Soon, the three of you were gathered around the dining table for lunch.
Yejoon sat between you and Taehyung, his little face scrunched in a grumpy expression. "Mom, I don't like school," he declared dramatically, pushing his food around his plate.
"Why not, sweetie?" you asked, trying to hide your smile.
"It's boring!" Yejoon pouted, folding his arms. "And the teacher says I can't run in the hallways." His face was a picture of serious complaint.
"Oh, really?" Taehyung chimed in, raising an eyebrow. "No running in the hallways, huh? I think we need to have a serious talk with your teacher about that."
