The golden hues of dawn seeped through the curtains as you stirred awake. You blinked, feeling an unusual lightness in your chest.

For the first time in days, you didn't wake up to the heaviness of unease. As you shifted slightly, Taehyung's warm voice broke the quiet morning.

"You're awake," he said softly, sitting at the edge of the bed. His eyes held a calm determination that put you at ease.

"Good morning," you replied, rubbing your eyes. "You're up early."

He smiled faintly, brushing his hand against yours. "I've been thinking... It's time we moved out. I've been considering it for a while now, and I think now's the right time."

You blinked in surprise, searching his face for a deeper reason, but his expression remained neutral. "Move out?" you echoed, unsure.

"Yes," he said, nodding. "I found us a house. It's cozy, quiet, and perfect for us. Somewhere we can have peace."

His words felt sincere, and although a part of you wondered about the timing, you decided not to question it. You had already resigned yourself to being by his side until the baby came, and this move seemed like a fresh start.

"Alright," you said softly. "If you think it's best."

Taehyung's smile widened just a fraction. "I do. Let's pack your things first, okay? I'll handle everything else."

An hour later, you zipped up the last suitcase, placing it by the door. Taehyung hovered nearby, occasionally helping you with the heavier items. "I'll carry that," he said firmly when you tried to lift your bag.

"I can manage, Taehyung," you protested lightly, but his gentle insistence made you relent.

"This isn't up for debate," he said with a teasing grin. "I'm your porter for the day."

Despite yourself, you chuckled, a rare smile gracing your lips.

Once everything was packed, Taehyung extended his hand to you. "Shall we?"

You hesitated for a moment before placing your hand in his. "Let's go."

As the two of you descended the staircase, the house was eerily quiet. The absence of his parents' usual presence didn't go unnoticed.

"Where are your parents?" you asked cautiously.

Taehyung's jaw tightened for a brief moment before he replied, "I thought it would be easier if we left quietly. They're... not here."

Something in his tone made you drop the subject, and you simply nodded.

As the two of you stepped out into the cool morning air, a car was waiting at the curb, its trunk open and ready. Taehyung began loading the luggage, his movements swift and deliberate.

He opened the car door for you, helping you in before climbing into the driver's seat. As the car pulled away from the Kim estate, you couldn't help but glance back one last time.

The towering gates disappeared behind you, and with them, the weight of the house you were leaving behind.

The car came to a halt outside a modest yet charming house nestled amidst a quiet street lined with blossoming trees. The air was fresh, the atmosphere peaceful-everything Taehyung had promised and more. He stepped out first, circling around to open your door with a warm smile.

"We're here," he said softly, offering his hand to help you out.

You hesitated briefly before taking it. The first step onto the cobblestone path felt oddly significant, like stepping into a world far removed from the chaos you'd left behind.
