"Hey Jaeyun! Have you eaten yet?" Iseul asks, smiling at him. Please don't ask for your book.

"Yeah, how about you? By the way, can I have my mathematics book back? I forgot I have maths class today and you know.. Mr Lee could be scary,"

"Oh.. your book.. let me see," Iseul takes her bag, opening it with shaky hands. Once she opened the bag, she immediately saw the book but she pretended to search for it. "Ah! Found it," She still smiled, giving the book to him. Is he going to be mad at me? Will he notice that?

Jaeyun looks at the book in his hand without saying anything, causing Iseul to become more nervous. He finally smiles, "Thanks! See you later!" He waves at her, walking away from there.

"Eh? I think the stain is noticeable, how could he not notice that?" Iseul looks at him, scratching the back of her head in confusion.

"Okay, class! I want you to send your book for me to mark it. Do it, now!" Mr Lee said.

Jaeyun collects the books from everyone before putting it next to Mr Lee. He walks back to his seat, planning to read a book when Mr Lee calls him.

"Sim Jaeyun! Come here. Look at your book. How am I going to mark this? How many times have I told you to not use gel pens? I can't even see the numbers," Mr Lee scolds him in front of everyone.

"I'm sorry, Mr Lee. My book got wet because of the rain yesterday,"

"Don't give me a lame excuse, Jaeyun. I know it was raining yesterday, but everyone's book is in a good condition except you,"

"I walked home and I saw a cat, so I gave my umbrella to the cat," Jaeyun can hear people laughing, listening to his excuses.

"You know I hate ugly books, right? Go write everything in a new book and send it to me,"

"Okay," Jaeyun goes back to his seat.

Heeseung nudged him, "Hey, since when did you walk home? You literally have a driver to take you from school everyday,"

"He got sick," Jaeyun takes out a new book. He has a smile on his face when he remembers what he saw yesterday.

...

"Iseul!" Jaeyun called for the girl but she couldn't hear it. He decided to follow her while waiting for his driver.

Jaeyun followed Iseul from behind, sometimes laughing because she jumped on every puddle she found. He found it cute.

"Cat!" Iseul said, turning around and Jaeyun hid behind the tree.

He watched Iseul taking out a cat from the bushes. He could listen to every word she said, I think I know what she's going to do. I should step in—

"Bye cat!!" Iseul shouted before running away. Jaeyun didn't even get the chance to stop her thoughts.

"Iseul! Omg, why would she leave her umbrella here.. aish, she's so unexpected," Jaeyun sighed.

"She's kind.."

"Who?" Heeseung smirks, raising his eyebrows. "Your crush? Ay~ you such a simp,"

"So what? She's my crush, of course I would become a simp for her." Jaeyun flips to the new page of the book. His hand started to get numb for writing too much.

"I wondered if your crush is that girl.. What was her name again? Ah, Park Iseul!" Heeseung makes Jaeyun go red but he keeps it calm.

"Her? Nah, she's just a girl that decided to be my friend after making me feel embarrassed by her wrong confession," Jaeyun lied. He knows it's better to just tell Heeseung but he felt like he shouldn't.

Suddenly someone pulls a chair, sitting in front of them as he has a serious face. He's looking straight into Jaeyun's eyes, making him feel intimidated. Jaeyun looks at Heeseung and Heeseung looks at him. What? Both of them were trying to communicate without talking.

"Oh, Sunghoon. That's not your seat," Heeseung gives a fake smile.

"I know. Hey, Sim Jaeyun. The things you just said earlier.. that's better be a joke." Sunghoon is looking at Jaeyun, not taking his eyes off him.

"What do you mean..?" Jaeyun is confused. They're just talking about Park Iseul, not something related to Park Sunghoon..?

Sunghoon ignores his question and goes back to talk to his girlfriend. Heeseung rolls his eyes as he glances at Sunghoon.

"Did he think everyone in school likes him just because he's famous? He acts so arrogant," Heeseung says.

"I don't think he's arrogant, he's just cold.. that's all,"

"Iseul, did you know that Jaeyun got scolded by Mr Lee today? Someone told me that he needed to write everything in a new book. That's a lot of work.. poor him," Siyeon says while looking at her phone. She didn't notice how Iseul's facial expression changed.

"Really?" It's my fault.. "We have 20 minutes left before the break time ends, right? I'm going somewhere," Iseul runs out of the classroom, heading somewhere.

She stops at the vending machine to buy a grape juice before continuing her walk. She looks around to see if he's around but glad the person she doesn't want to see isn't there. She sees Jaeyun sitting in his seat. "Gosh.. don't tell me he never left his seat?" Mr Lee can be really strict sometimes.

She taps the table, grabbing his attention before she places the juice box on the table. "Why don't you stop for a while and drink this?"

"Oh! Iseul.. what are you doing here?" This is her first time, right? He is always the one to go to meet her first. He was so focused on work that he forgot to have lunch together with his friends. But he didn't mind that. He's happy now to see Iseul in front of him.

"I heard you got scolded by Mr Lee and I was thinking what happened to you because you would always come to my class first. Who knows.. you might be crying in the restroom but it seems like you're fine," The first one is true but the others are just a lie that she made up. She's not going to say she went to see him just because she felt guilty because she's the reason he got scolded.

"Did you miss me?" Jaeyun places his head on the table and looks at her with a playful smile. He earns a smack from Iseul.

"Why should I? Anyway, I gotta go now," Iseul walks to the door when Heeseung appears. He flashes a small smile at her, letting her go first before entering the classroom.

Iseul had her hand on her chest. Whenever she sees Heeseung, she just can't breathe properly. She's so nervous when he's around. She thought hanging out with Jaeyun would change something or make it easy to move on, but nothing happened. Every time she sees him, it's nothing but a pain, her heart is throbbing.

"When am I going to move on from him?"
