Deokyeom was ready to hit her when a trash bin was thrown at his head. He chuckles, trying his best to calm down as he slowly turns to see who just threw that thing at him. "Just who—!"

"Jaeyun..." Iseul feels like crying when she finally sees him.

"How dare you lay your fingers on my girlfriend?!" His fist clenched, staring at Deokyeom.

"Oh, so this pretty thing right here is your girlfriend?" Deokyeom grabs Iseul's hair, causing her to yelp in pain.

Jaeyun's anger is boiling mad seeing Iseul being in pain because of that guy. He walks towards them but the big guy blocks his way. Jaeyun glances at him, slowly gulping down his saliva. If he's being honest.. he doesn't know how to fight. Jaeyun grew up in a good care surrounded by good people so he never stumbled upon someone who's stronger than him or wanted to pick a fight with him. He never went to any martial arts class because his mother only focused on him being a pianist.

But he can't let them hurt his girlfriend. The only way to fight them is.. there's no other way!! Gosh, what should he do? He can't just run away and ask for help. Jaeyun looks at Iseul. She's silently crying while enduring the pain from Deokyeom. He hates himself for being weak but being weak doesn't mean he should give up.

"Why are you blocking my way? Move!" Jaeyun pushes the big guy but he doesn't flinch at all. He tries to take another step before the big guy grabs him by his collar and throws him to the wall. "Argh—!"

"Jaeyun!!" Iseul wants to run towards him and help him if it's not because of Deokyeom holding her back. She clenches her fist before punching him right at his face.

"Ahhh! My face!"

As soon as he let go of her from his grip, Iseul rushes to pick the brick before hitting the back of head of the big guy. "Don't hurt him you, asshole!" Iseul takes a few steps backwards when the big guy turns around to look at her. Then she glances at Deokyeom who's walking towards her in anger and back at Jaeyun who's laying on the ground. Oh no..

"Y-You think I'm scared..?" Iseul grabs any thing she could reach and throws it at them. She's still worried about Jaeyun.

"You're dead." Deokyeom said.

Iseul is stuck at the corner. She closes her eyes, ready to get beaten up when suddenly she hears a bone cracked and Deokyeom groaning in pain. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing him throw a kick at the big guy, winning over the fight in seconds. Iseul can't believe her own eyes. He knocked down two of them..

While she's looking at the ground, he rushes to her and hugs her. "Are you okay, Iseul?" Jungwon tightens the hug, patting her head. He's grateful that he comes at the perfect time to save her. How dare they hurt Iseul.. I will make them pay soon.

"Jungwon.." Iseul only said his name before she realized something. She pulls herself from him and runs towards Jaeyun. "Jaeyun! Jaeyun, wake up!" She cupped his face, calling him.

Jaeyun's eyes open, his eyes meet with Iseul and he immediately pulls her into a hug. Iseul cries in his embrace. She was so scared that Jaeyun would get hurt because of her. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I can't protect you.." I hate myself. I really hate myself.

"What do you mean? You protected me! And you will always protect me.." Iseul wraps her arms around him.

"Let's treat this wound. Ah.. that must hurt." Iseul applied the ointment on his scratched hand.

Jaeyun hisses, pouting while his girlfriend treats him. It's just a scratch.. Then he glances at Jungwon who's sitting at the back, not saying anything since a while ago. He knows Jungwon saved them. He's thankful that he came to help. Iseul gets up from the seat, saying that she's going to buy drinks for them as she enters the convenience store, leaving Jaeyun and Jungwon outside.
