"Jaeyun. Jaeyun? Hey! Earth to Sim Jaeyun?!" Iseul shouts into his ear causing the boy to jump in shock because of how loud it is. She shakes her head before continuing to read the study materials. "Are you bothered by something? I was scared when you didn't move at all just now.."

"Nothing, just thinking of something."

They're studying in the library as usual but today something is a little different. They're always studying together, just the two of them. Jaeyun didn't know how there were suddenly three of them. He glances at Jungwon who's bopping his head, probably listening to music because he got his headphones on.

Jaeyun is irritated. He knows he's not supposed to feel this way because Jungwon is Iseul's close friend but he's jealous. He's really jealous. Since the dimple boy in front of him moved here, it's so hard to hangout with Iseul without him following her around. What is he? Her child or something? He can't tell Iseul that he's annoyed with Jungwon because Jungwon hasn't done anything wrong to him.

"Iseul, there's a new released by &team! Omg, you should listen to it. It's so good!" Jungwon takes off the headphones and puts them on her.

"Woah, I should add this to my playlist."

"By the way, Jaeyun. Why are you always with Iseul? Don't you have a girlfriend?" Jungwon asks.

"I don't," Jaeyun replies coldly.

"That's surprising? With that face, you can easily get girls drooling over you though. Perhaps... you like Iseul?" Jungwon smirks.

"Uh.." Jaeyun doesn't know how to answer the question. If he answers, he basically just confesses but it's not the time yet. Not in front of Yang Jungwon. He wants to confess to Iseul when they're alone.

"Stop talking nonsense. Jaeyun got a crush." Iseul answers for him. Even though the answer is wrong.

"Ah... I see. The loyal type. That's good to know."

That's good to know? What does he mean by that..

Jaeyun realizes that the boy in front of him isn't just an ordinary boy. There must be lots of things that he knows and wants to spill it out but he can't because of Iseul. Just the way he talks makes Jaeyun want to ask him more but the more he asks, the more he falls into his trap to make him reveal his real feelings towards Iseul.

After that, they decide to go to the arcade together to release the stress after study. Iseul goes inside the store to buy ice cream for herself while two of them are standing outside, waiting for them. Jaeyun was minding his own business when Jungwon stepped closer to stand beside him. He smiles at Jaeyun. The smile is genuine but Jaeyun just doesn't like it because it seems to hold lots of secrets. Why does this boy love to smile a lot though??

"Iseul is oblivious, but I'm not."

"Huh?? I don't understand what you're talking about," Jaeyun glances at him.

Jungwon wraps his arm around his shoulder. "Ayy, don't pretend you didn't get what I'm talking about. You like Iseul. It's obvious, everyone can guess."

Jaeyun froze at his spot. What should he do now? There's no point of hiding it.

"It's okay if you don't want to be honest but I will tell you some tips if you want to win her heart. Iseul prefers if someone is bold with their feelings towards her. She hates getting the wrong signal from someone. She hates getting fake hope. If you see the chance, you should just grab it! How? Is it useful?" Jungwon raises his eyebrows, asking.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"To help you, of course~ What? Don't tell me.. you won't mind if I make her mine? Omg.. you're so generous!" Jungwon takes Jaeyun's hand, shaking it as if he's grateful.

"If I were you, I would fight everyone to be with Iseul. Iseul is such a pure soul. When you're with her, you just can't help but have the urge to protect her from everyone if you get what I mean. As someone who has been friends with her for a long time.. you don't seem trustworthy enough to be with Iseul."

"Hey, that's—"

"Why is it so hard to buy an ice cream? I'm glad the workers are fast doing their work," Iseul comes out of the store with chocolate ice cream in her hand. She confusedly blinked at the two boys in front of her. Why do I feel a strong tension from there?

"We're going on a trip. Mom just told me that," Sunghoon comes into the living room to tell her that but he just shakes his head to see books everywhere on the floor. He picks it up to put it on the table near the couch. "I knew it. You could never complete your homeworks if you're doing it in front of the television."

"Tsk, I will clean it up later. And when is it?" She rolls her eyes at him.

"Next week. Oh, she said you can bring your friends. You should ask Jaeyun, Jungwon and Siyeon."

"Alright," She showed him the thumb up. "Are you going to ask Jina?"

"No.. we've broken up," He rubs his nape, sighing.

"What?! Nooo my favourite couple! You guys breaking up means no more free starbucks for me after this!" She dramatically fell off the couch, rolling on the floor. Jina is rich. She always treats Iseul to something delicious and that's the only reason why Iseul let her be with her twin brother.

"I can buy you starbucks anytime you want so stop asking about her," He says before going upstairs to his room.

Iseul watches him walking away and she pouts to herself. She hugged the pillow, staring at the ceiling above her.

No matter how happy the relationship is,

If they're not destined to be together.. they won't last long.

Even if you have been together with them for a few years, you still can't expect it would turn out to be like this.

Love is scary.

"If.. I got the chance to be with Jaeyun.. I will try to be the best person he can lean on. But I'm not sure if that's going to happen..?"
