They go inside the convenience store, Iseul goes straight to the freezer to find the ice cream. Jaeyun quietly follows behind, he looks over her shoulder to search for his ice cream flavour. After they get the ice cream they wanted and pay for it, they sit on the available chair outside the convenience store.
"Finally!" Iseul rips the plastic and throws it on the table. She hums happily when she could taste the chocolate flavoured ice cream melting in her mouth. They are just done with piano practice.
Iseul feels great because she can finally play it perfectly. There's a few days left before the contest. A little nervous but she's excited as well. If it's not because of Jaeyun, she probably would underestimate herself. She glances at him as he was eating his ice cream while scrolling through his phone. He's smiling the whole time which makes Iseul curious. She suddenly remembered about the movie date when he told the girls he had a girlfriend.
"Hey, Jaeyun. Why didn't you tell me you have a girlfriend already?" Iseul asks him to cough.
He looks up at her, he seems shocked by her question. Why?
"Who told you that?" He scratches his neck awkwardly. If Iseul heard that from someone then he will go and find the person that spread lies about him to his crush. He doesn't want Iseul to think he already got someone when she's the one he wants.
"The girls that asked for your number when we went to watch the movie. You told her you got a girlfriend. Did you confess to your crush?"
"Ah, I lied to them. And no, I still haven't confessed to her."
"I see, so you lied to them because even though you don't have a girlfriend.. you already love someone. Ayy~" Iseul nudges his elbow, teasing him. "Why were you smiling while looking at your phone? Are you looking at her picture? Let me see," Iseul leans closer, but Jaeyun immediately turns off the phone.
"You can't!"
"Aww, too bad." She pouts, continuing to finish the ice cream in her hand.
Jaeyun looks away, sighs in relief. He's dead if she sees his phone because he was staring at her photo that he took while she was playing the piano. He couldn't help but to take it secretly because she looked so pretty and elegant. The way she focused on the piano, her lips curved into a smile when she realized she played it perfectly. She's so adorable.
"We should head home," Jaeyun stood up.
Iseul waves at him before walking away, using a different path from Jaeyun. She reaches home, greeted by Sunghoon on the couch eating chips while watching the television. She rolls her eyes as she walks in front of him to collect the trash he made.
"Move, I can't see the tv," Sunghoon pushes her when she intentionally stands in front of the couch to annoy him.
"If your girlfriend sees this, she might actually ask for a breakup because you're so lazy at home. How did you get the title of best student when you're acting like this?"
"I'm handsome."
"Ugh, that's so.." Her eyes are judging him, looking up and down.
"So cool? Thanks."

"Omg, why do I feel so nervous??" Iseul tries to stop her shaking hands when someone holds her hands. She smiles at Jaeyun.
"You can do this. Stop overthinking and do your best when you're on the stage," Jaeyun takes out something from his pants pocket before placing it on her palm.
"What is this?" She stares at the star keychain.
"This is a good luck charm. I always bring it everywhere, I will let you borrow it for today."
"Aw, Jaeyun. You really don't need to go this far. It's yours. You will need it," Iseul gives it back to him but Jaeyun shakes his head.
"I want to share my luck with you. Good luck, Iseul! I'm rooting for you, from the backstage~" He whispers into her ear to prevent his classmates from hearing it. He giggles after that before walking away.
"Yo, good luck. I'm sure my class is gonna win though," Sunghoon says when he passes by her.
Iseul scoffs. Her class isn't going to perform first. So, she waits patiently and at the same time trying to memorize. She plays the biggest part in the performance. If she makes a mistake, her classmates will be disappointed in her because they're giving this responsibility to her. After a long wait, finally they get on the stage. Iseul sees Jaeyun cheering for her from the side of the stage. She giggles at his cute expression. Taking a deep breath and looking at the conductor to give a signal to start, she played the piano calmly.
Iseul only can think about what Jaeyun taught her a week ago. Relax.
"Iseul, you should relax. Your body is so stiff." Jaeyun placed his hands on her shoulder.
Audiences are in awe watching the performance. The pianist grabs their attention. The way Iseul plays the piano elegantly, with her wearing a white ribbon at her hair and the spotlight is on her. She looks like a princess coming out of the fairytale.
"Don't think about people staring at you. You can think of me."
"W-what?" Iseul glanced at him but she immediately turned away when realized he's already looking at her.
"I'm just kidding! Hehe,"
"Okay, I will."
"What?"
"I said I will think of you whenever I feel nervous."
Jaeyun said that to tease and see her reaction. He was having fun seeing her getting red because of him but whenever she flirted back, he knew he couldn't respond to that and try not to blush.
"I did it.." Iseul smiles to herself when she hears the audience clapping hands. She gets up from the chair before bowing together with her classmates.
"Jaeyun! Jaeyun! I did it!" She runs backstage to hug him.
"Oh my-!" He almost lost his balance when the girl wrapped her arms around his waist and he laughed, patting her back. "I told you, you can do it. I'm so proud of you!"
"Ahh! This is all because of you! Thank you, Jaeyun. Really, thank you so much!"
