"What took them so long?" Aera pouts, getting tired of waiting.

"Do you want me to go look for them?"

"Yeah thanks!"

Jungwon gets up, walking to the toilet to find Iseul and Jaeyun but he hears sounds coming from that room. He walks closer, placing his ear against the door when he hears Iseul's laughter.

"Jaeyun, do you really like me that much?"

"I do, I really like you Iseul"

Jungwon can hear them talking. He can feel his heart sink, knowing he's too late to confess his love for her. He's not dumb. He's not obvlious like Sim Jaeyun. He knows all along that both of them like each other but he's just a little idiot for believing he can have her to himself even though he knows the truth.

It hurts but he can't get upset. No.. he doesn't deserve to get upset at all. Jungwon sighs, before knocking on the door. The door is opened from inside by Jaeyun and he seems a little shocked to see Jungwon.

"Oh Jungwon, hey what are you doing?" Jaeyun's licks his lips and fixing his hair. He turns to look at Iseul sitting on his bed.

"Why are you guys making us wait? If you're done, I want to go home." Jungwon says, not asking why they're in the room together. He doesn't need to ask. He already knows the answer.

"You want to go home? Let's go home!"

"It's okay, I can go home alone. I want to go somewhere," He walks away.

"Well.. if you say so.." Iseul's blinks and when he turns to Jaeyun, she's blushing again.

"What?"

"What do you mean 'what'? I'm still shocked, okay!"

"But you like the kiss right?" Jaeyun smirks, pulling her closer by the waist.

"Omg, enough!"

"I'm home— argh!! Mom! Look at Sunghoon!" Iseul shouts because as soon as she enters the house, she gets hit by a pillow. She picks up the pillow and throws it back to her brother.

Sunghoon laughs so hard when his sister tries to fight him back. He immediately leaves the living room, goes to his room and locks the door so Iseul can't get inside.

"Haih, I don't know if my children are 18 years old or 8 years old." The mom sighs, while doing some work in the kitchen.

Iseul enters her room, closes the door behind and checks her phone when she hears the sound of a new notification. Her smile reappears when she sees the name of the contact.

'Did you get home safely?'

She jumps on her bed, curling her toes and giggling to herself before trying to type the text back. Another message is coming in and it's a photo from Jaeyun. Iseul almost screams to the top of her lungs when she sees the photo.

'I miss you already :('

She definitely doesn't pay attention to the next text but at the photo of him which seems like he cropped it. Is he topless?? Iseul can see his bare shoulder. Her thoughts are full of him from the start.

'Sleep well, girlfriend'

"I am.. a girlfriend now. Jaeyun's girlfriend." Iseul rubs her eyes to check if this is only a dream, a nice dream but it's not. It's not! It's true! She's really his girlfriend!

"Jungwon, are you spacing out?" Her touch must have startled him and she giggled when he looked clueless.

"Am I? Sorry.. I just think of something.." He straightened up his back, taking the pen to continue the work. Jungwon sighed, feeling overwhelmed with his own thoughts. Then he felt a hand on his, and it's her smiling at him to reassure everything is okay.

Everything is only okay when she's around.

He doesn't need a pill. He only needs her.

Jungwon watches the people and the light while he sits on the sand, at the beach after he comes back from Jaeyun's house. Suddenly his phone makes a sound and he sees lots of missed calls from his father and a text saying he just cut off the money, meaning Jungwon won't receive any money from his father from now on.

It's probably because he has found out that he dropped out from that school on his own and moved back to this place. Even though he tries to explain, he tries to tell him that school isn't for him, being there is hard but his father never seems to care. Yeah. He only cares about his new wife.

That's right. At this time, he should have called Iseul and talked to her about the most random things in order to forget about everything that happened. If it's not because of her, he wouldn't choose to be back here. But thanks to her, he's able to stand for himself because he's not scared of everything since he has her.

'Jungwon, you're already at home right?' The text definitely surprised him because he didn't expect it. The tears he was holding back finally fell. Jungwon cries while hugging his knees, still holding the phone in his hand.

He really needs her.

Iseul walks to school when Jungwon joins her, walking beside her. She doesn't know where he comes from, suddenly appears like that. He's smiling ear to ear, making Iseul curious and asking him.

"Why do you look so happy?"

"Me? I'm always like this! What do you mean? Hehe," Jungwon pokes his cheeks, laughing.

"Right? That's the Jungwon I know," Iseul giggles at him.

"Where's Sunghoon? You didn't walk with him?"

"You already know that we're not going to act like we know each other or act like we're actually siblings at school. And usually he walked to school with his girlfriend but now.. I'm not sure since they have broken up." Iseul feels bad for her brother. He always acts like he's okay and strong but when it comes to his girlfriend- well ex girlfriend, he could shed tears for her.

"I hope he finds a new one soon," Jungwon says.

They reach the school, walking to the locker to grab their things when they meet Jaeyun in the hallway. He walks up to Iseul, smiling and nudging her elbow. Iseul mouthed 'what' to him because she doesn't want Jungwon to get suspicious. It's not like she won't tell him but it's too early to tell. She will tell him soon.

Jaeyun is on his phone, not knowing what he did but suddenly her phone vibrates inside the pocket. His eyes tell her to check the phone and see the text. Iseul cleared her throat, turning to Jungwon.

"Jungwon, go to the class first. I'm going somewhere—"

"Okay," He walks first, leaving them.

Iseul looks at him. Huh? Usually he would ask where she is going and wants to tag along too but he just walks away? Iseul shrugs and she feels hand holding hers.

"Why did you tell me to tell Jungwon to go first?" Iseul is being dragged to the side of the hallway, just right at the corner where people could barely see them.

"Because if he's here.. I can't do this," Jaeyun cups her cheeks, giving a peck on her lips.

"Oh my god.. that surprised me."

"Now, you can go to class or should I walk with you to the class?"

"I can go by myself. Then.. see ya!"
