Iseul walks in the corridor, trying to calm herself after the argument with Siyeon. Suddenly she sees Jaeyun, their eyes meet but Jaeyun immediately turns around, walking away. Iseul frowns and chases him.

"Sim Jaeyun! Why are you avoiding me?" She grabs his wrist, stopping him from going anywhere. Her eyes look at him deathly.

Jaeyun gulps down his saliva as he is shocked when Iseul grabs his hand. Isn't he supposed to do that? But right now Iseul is looking very serious, she seems mad about something.

"Uh.. Sunghoon told me to stop talking to you—"

"And you're going to listen to him? Dumbass. He's no one to you, you shouldn't be scared of that jerk." She says, literally forgetting the fact her brother saved her a few days ago. After all, it's her brother and she has nothing nice to say about him excluding the school festival accident.

"But I don't understand.. just who is Sunghoon to you—" Jaeyun was interrupted by the school bell. He sees everyone is rushing back to their classrooms but right now Iseul is more important. He won't leave until she's done.

But luck isn't on his side when he sees the discipline teacher walking around with a long ruler in his hand. They're going to be dead meat if they get caught. Jaeyun pulls Iseul with him into the nearest store, closing the door behind.

"I'm sorry, there's a teacher outside, I just don't want him to see us. You can leave after he's gone," He says but the girl walks to the corner before sitting on the floor.

"I don't want.. to go back to the classroom."

Jaeyun sighs, taking a seat beside her. "Is it because of Siyeon and Heeseung..?"

"Please, I feel like an idiot for trusting her. Jaeyun, you know that right..?"

"I swear I don't know Siyeon is Heeseung's girlfriend! I saw her once but didn't get a clear vision of her, I don't know if that's your best friend.." He feels bad as if it's his fault. Iseul likes his best friend but his best friend is dating with Iseul's best friend. Everything is a mess.

"I want to move on. I need to move on. After what happened, I have a good reason to get over these feelings. I wouldn't let someone like Heeseung make my life miserable." Iseul says and she seems serious about it.

Jaeyun is relieved to see her getting the spirit but it doesn't last long when she looks down, looking sad again. "This is so hard.. Why do I never end up with my crush? I want to experience going on a date with someone too.." Iseul is a hopeless romantic. Going on a date with someone is written on her high school wishlist. But it seems like she can't fulfil the wish.

"Iseul.. do you really want a boyfriend that bad? I mean, it's not mandatory to get a boyfriend in high school. You should enjoy your high school without having bad memories and getting hurt because of some guy.."

"You don't understand, Jaeyun. You don't understand how hurtful it is to not have any romantic interaction when you're a teenager and seeing everyone having them.. everyone but you. It makes me feel so unworthy like what's wrong with me? Why can't I have that too?" Iseul tells him how she feels all this time and it break Jaeyun's heart since Iseul doesn't know that the guy that is sitting right in front of her right now would give everything to her and wouldn't make her feel that way.

"I do.. I do understand it."

"Really? How is that possible when everyone is simping over you? Half the population of girls in this school are interested in you." Someone like Jaeyun never experienced that too?

"Yeah because I rejected every girl that confessed to me."

"Why would you do that..? Don't you feel guilty for breaking their hearts? I know you probably thought they liked you because of your handsome face but there must be someone that's truly love you,"
