"Iseul~ Hey Iseul! Why are you pretending like we're strangers?" Jungwon walks beside her, still smiling even though the girl ignores him. He's quite confused because he thought Iseul would be excited to see him again.

"Why did you come back here?"

"Huh... you don't want me to?" His smile fades, lips turning into a pout while he stands still next to her.

Iseul feels guilty for saying that. She didn't mean it in a rude way, she's just asking. "No.. it's not like that. But you moved school because of your parents and it's been a year so I thought you'd be okay living in the new school."

"Ah.. I don't like the school environment. It's too toxic for me to handle and because you're not there, I feel empty. Don't you miss me, little penguin?" Jungwon grin, hand goes on top of her head, ruffling the hair causing Iseul to whine because her hair is ruined now.

"I thought you already forgot that stupid nickname.."

"What do you mean stupid?! It's cute! Just like you~ hehe," He giggles.

Jungwon really knows how to make Iseul get shy with his actions. If only Jungwon didn't move school that time, she probably would still have a crush on him.

"Iseul, how about we hangout after—" Jungwon couldn't finish his sentences when Jaeyun shouted her name.

"Iseul! Iseul! Let's go to the cafeteria, they have tteokbokki!" Jaeyun smiles at her but when he notices there's someone else there, he controls his expression. "Who..?"

"Woah! I told you, we will keep seeing each other often!" Jungwon flashes a smile, his dimples appearing.

Jaeyun remembered it's the guy from the convenience store. So when he said that, he meant they would often see each other at school? Is he a new student? And why is he with Iseul?

"I don't remember you having a boy best friend. Or.. is he a boyfriend~?" Jungwon teases Iseul more, completely forgetting Jaeyun there.

"Stop. I don't have time to get a boyfriend," Iseul continues to walk with Jaeyun and Jungwon following her. She's definitely getting stares from everyone because two handsome students are walking with her.

"You guys seem close.." Jaeyun says and he doesn't like the fact they are close.

"Yeah! We have known each other for a very long time. She's still at the same height the last time I saw her— ow! You shouldn't bully a new student!" Jungwon rubs the place where Iseul pinched.

Jaeyun can only watch the two friends having a conversation while he's being left out. Maybe he should go with Heeseung to the cafeteria. He doesn't want to be here when there's someone else. Suddenly Iseul thugs down his sweater, holding it while walking.

"Sorry, he's not this loud but he has a lot to tell.." Iseul gives an apologetic smile. She doesn't want Jaeyun to feel uncomfortable with Jungwon's presence. She wants him to know that her attention is always on him.

"That's okay."

Jungwon and Iseul walk home together because they're living in the same neighbourhood. It's such a memory.. They used to walk together like this too. The sun is setting down, lights at the road have turned on, people blasting music from the radio could be heard and they're walking side by side.

"You and Siyeon.. you guys don't look like before. What happened when I wasn't here?" Jungwon looks at her.

A sigh escapes her mouth. "It's been more than a month since we were like this.. and you probably don't want to know the reason."

"What? What is it? Tell me. Iseul, you can always share your problems with me," He holds her hand, bringing it to his cheek.

"She dated my crush, well not a crush anymore. I've moved on. And I think our friendship will be okay soon. I hope so.."

"That's a relief."

"That me and Siyeon are going to return as before?"

"Yeah, but that's not the only reason," He says, which makes Iseul confused.

"What does it mean?"

Jungwon flicks her forehead as she groans in pain. "Iseul, as always being the oblivious one."

"I don't understand, okay! You should finish your sentences!"

"Nope~"

"Hey!" She runs when Jungwon starts running while laughing at her. He's really having fun teasing her. He missed her so much.

While Jaeyun at home is having a hard time as he can't forget about what Sunghoon told him at school today. He was curious about Yang Jungwon. He just wanted to know a little about him but Sunghoon just exposed everything which ruined his mood for the whole day, or maybe the whole week.

Few hours ago at school...

"Hey, Sunghoon. Can I ask something?" Jaeyun pulled the chair and sat on it.

Sunghoon glanced at him, judging him as much as he could. "It's unusual for you to ask me unless it's because of my sister?"

"Who's Yang Jungwon? I heard he moved here but he's friends with Iseul."

"Aw, someone is jealous~"

"I'm not—!"

Sunghoon laughed, clapping his hands as he enjoyed the reaction. "Well, you can say Jungwon and my twin.. they're close to each other. Like real close, they shared problems with each other a lot. Jungwon used to hangout at our house every Sunday. He used to be a student here too.. If you don't know.. you probably don't know since Jungwon preferred to be unknown to others."

Jaeyun just nodded. So, Iseul was closer to Jungwon than when she's with him? "What do you think about Jungwon..?"

"Jungwon? He's such a good person. Iseul liked him a lot, I like him too." Sunghoon grinned, arms crossing over his chest while he leaned back to look at Jaeyun. He tried not to laugh when Jaeyun's jaw slightly dropped. This is so funny.

"Pfft, Iseul liked him. So.. she liked him right? That's in the past because right now—" He stops in the middle when the realization hits him.

"I'm not planning to have a crush on someone again."

"Yeah.. oh how lucky he was to be Iseul's crush.." Jaeyun jumps on the bed, rolling around because he's so annoyed with the feelings.

He wonders if the universe has been so cruel towards him, not letting him be together with his crush because he broke the girl's heart with his rejection. Is this karma? Does he not deserve to be with someone?
