"you're all absolute cheaters."

"nuh uh, you're just shit at uno," issei smirked, leaning back against the grey couch after he gained yet another win in uno. he put his hands behind his head and feet on the coffee table, acting all high and mighty.

"excuse me," y/n launched a pillow right at his face, "i know you have, like, ten cards shoved up your ass right now. c'mon, admit it."

"you don't know shit about my ass, y/n." he threw the pillow right back at her.

"guys, what did we say about being vulgar at the table," aoi sighed as he tried to ease the tension, yet his partner was being just as childish as their kids. has there ever been a civil game of uno? probably not.... anyways, our main girl is currently trying to defend her honor through a card game. is it working? of course not.

"you lost, though, n/n!" f/n squealed as he pointed to his daughter still holding like 10 cards, looking absolutely done with everyone. in the numerous rounds that they had played so far, she had not won a single one. "you know what that means, time to put your shoes on!"

"mannn," y/n sighed, throwing her remaining cards onto the coffee table. she and the rest of the family sat around it, with the kids on the couch and the dads on the floor. there was a big bowl full of popcorn in the middle of it... well, there used to be popcorn in it.

"i don't know why you're complaining, shithead. you're the one that wanted more snacks in the first place."

"well, yes, cause some prick AHEM ate all of mine... i think you know them pretty well, issei. my fruit gummies..."

"oh, please, i didn't touch anything, especially your fruity shit. you know i stay away from that red 40 crap."

"the only fruity shit here is YOU- oh, wait,"
y/n glanced at the two fathers, laughing cautiously. they glanced at one another and sighed in amusement. as much as their kids' very unserious natures always managed to bring chaos... the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

"i'm so glad our kids get along with each other... anyway, stop stalling, n/n. the faster you leave, the faster we can eat!"

y/n mumbled something in annoyance as a response while she got up from the couch. she stepped over issei's legs that still rested on the table so she could get to the front door. before she left the room, aoi yelled, "if you get bad snacks, we're sending you back!"
