"ready!" oikawa and iwaizumi had finished getting their things from the court, then made their way towards where y/n was waiting. "y/n, let me hold your board," iwaizumi spoke while pointing to it as they began walking. y/n was between the two, iwaizumi on her left and oikawa on her right.
"oh, are you sure? i'm fine with holding it..." she trailed off, noticing the muscles in the wing spikers arm. he simply nodded and took it from her grasp, holding it with ease.
"such a gentleman, iwa! always so nice to the ladies,"oikawa sang while putting on his glasses.
"shut it."
"oh, those are fancy looking," y/n remarked, staring at the black frames that rested on oikawa's face. she had never seem him with glasses before, and it really did suit him well. how'd he get even more attractive, she wondered...
"he doesn't even need them, he only wears them 'cause he thinks it makes him look pretty. luckily for him the girls love it, so i guess it's working."
"hey, what's wrong with looking pretty?? also, i actually do need these, i'll have you know. it's not my fault i'm so handsome..." the four eyes pouted at iwaizumi's comments.
"you do look really nice with them on, kawa." with y/n's compliment, oikawa's eyes sparkled. he'd been praised before, but to have it coming from this goddess next to him was much more special, and much more butterfly-inducing.
before oikawa could say anything (along the lines of ohh y/n you think so? awwhh you're so sweet thank you please compliment me more!!), iwaizumi shot him an intimidating glare that said, "don't start." oikawa simply looked away and chuckled, "thank you, n/n.... anyway, there's a cafe nearby that just opened not too long ago. none of us have been, so me and iwa decided that's where we should take you. it's called mooncoin, or something."
"oh, that place sounds familiar, i think..." y/n thought it sounded really familiar, actually. she just couldn't remember why. oh well, she left the thought alone.
"hmm, maybe you've heard the name around. i think it's getting a bit popular around the country. might also have another location somewhere..." iwaizumi reasoned.
"oh n/n," the other two looked at oikawa, "i've been meaning to ask, how come you aren't going to aoba johsai with mattsun? and us, huh?? don't you wanna be with me and iwa 24/7??"
"as much as i love that idea... i just wanted to see more of where my parents grew up, i suppose. that's why i'm going to the school they met at. my mom moved to hyōgo before i was born, so i've never lived here. plus, i like the karasuno girls' uniform," y/n added in.
