I was woken up by an abrupt knock on my door before someone came crashing in loudly. After squeezing my eyes shut and opening them while taking my head out from where it was buried in my pillow, I turned to lay on my back and rubbed my eyes.

"Adam, Chase, and Bree are training. Let's go watch." Leos voice said as I removed my hands from my face. I groaned and looked over at the clock on my nightstand.

"Leo, it's six AM. Leave me alone." I told him grumpily. I wrapped my arms around my face as he flicked on the lights.

"Come on. It'll be-" Leo stopped mid sentence when the pillow I had throw, hit him in the face. Happy at the silence, I rolled back onto my side and shut my eyes. I heard Leo start to leave and rose my head up.

"Turn the light off please." I said quietly and put my head back down when the lights flicked off.

After about thirty minutes of trying to go back to sleep, I flipped onto my back and let out a loud groan. It was a saturday morning and I was up at six. I grabbed my pillow from under my head and covered my face with it, desperately wanting to go back to sleep. I threw the pillow back onto my bed and sighed in defeat.

I yanked my sheet off myself and got dressed and brushed my teeth and hair, before heading down to the lab. Once I walked in, I saw Adam, Bree, and Chase dressed in their grey and red mission suits standing near their capsules. Leo stood in front of them with the lab table between the two groups.

"Oh, look who's up." Leo mocked as I took a spot next to him. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.

"You know I'm not a morning person." I shrugged and he crossed his arms.

"Yea, I'm aware. You hit me square in the face with a pillow." Leo said, clearly annoyed. Adam stuck his hand out to high five me and I quickly smacked his hand, smiling.

"I've got good aim." I told Leo as Davenport walked in.

"Okay guys." He started as he stood on the other side of Leo. Obviously, training was starting. "The next phase of your training is handling extreme climates. So we'll frost Chase, bake Bree, and submerge Adam." Davenport announced and pointed at each one of them. Adams face lit up but I wasn't sure he knew what submerge meant. "That's not part of the training, I just got one of those carnival dunk tanks and I can't wait to try it out." Davenport explained and laughed a little.

"Dibs on dunking Stas!" Leo raised his hand and glowered at me.

"Can we freeze him?" I asked, pointing at Leo with my thumb as Chase got in his capsule.

"Okay, Chase, I'm setting your tube on 'Antarctic.' If it gets to much, just give me a sign." Davenport explained while waving his hands in the air.

"Bring it." Chase said confidently and Davenport turned the machine on.

"Hey, that's not fair. I agree with Stas, I wanna be abused by weather." Leo whined and pouted.

"Leo, if you really want to be abused, try standing over here next to Adam's morning breath." Bree told us, making my face curl in disgust.

"I don't have morning breath." Adam denied. "It smells like that all day." Adam shrugged nonchalantly as Leo and I stared at him in disbelief.

"Leo, these guys are genetically engineered to handle these kind of climates. You're not." Davenport explained sternly.

"I can handle extreme cold." Leo stated, completely convinced he'd be able to with stand what bionic humans could.

"Leo, you get brain freeze from chewing mint gum." Davenport reminded him.
