Three entire weeks went by of Adam, Bree, and Chase not talking. There were multiple occasions where I had tried to convince Chase to snap out of it, but he wouldn't budge. On the other hand, we had gotten to spend those three weeks just us. It was nice that we were able to be a normal couple for awhile. We hadn't ever gotten that opportunity. Unfortunately, we were able to stay at the mall for as long as we wanted because Davenport sent us an urgent text telling us to get home.

"I can't believe you bought those." I laughed, referring to the weird sunglasses he got while we walked up the drive way. We had just come back from the mall. Chase and I had decided to go on a cruise just him and I, but he chose an astronomy cruise without me knowing. So, of course, he had to go to the mall and get some astronomy stuff for the cruise. I made him help me pick out a few bikinis because there was no way I was spending our entire cruise staring at stars. I would for awhile, because he loved them, but not the whole trip.

"I can't believe you made me change." He moped and I rolled my eyes. Before we left to go to the mall, he came up stairs wearing galaxy shorts and a white shirt with a galaxy collar. He was now wearing a pair of black jeans, and blue sweater with the sleeves shoved up his forearms a bit. Much better.

"Chase, I love you and I wouldn't be a good girlfriend if I let you out of the house like that." I told him as we got to the door. "And besides, I let you pick out a galaxy bikini for me, so I think we're even." I added quickly as he opened the door for me.

"Fair enough." He shrugged with an evil grin as he shut the door behind us. We then spotted Adam and Davenport walking out from the hallway and Bree coming from the stairs. "Hey, what's with the urgent text alert? We were out buying sunglasses for our astronomy cruise. Check these out." Chase said as he put the bags down and pulled out the horrible sunglasses.

"I want to make sure everyone knows I tried to stop him." I announced as he showed everyone the glasses.

"They double as telescopes." He smiled happily before putting them on. I doubted he could see anything by the way they were angled at the ground.

"And they triple as ugly!" I exclaimed in a cheery voice as he put the glasses down. "Sorry, but you're still cute." I assured him and he shook his head.

"Ew." Adam grimaced and I ignored him.

"The president called." Davenport finally said, laying a hand on Adam's shoulder as he walked in between Chase and him. "It's an emergency and he needs you." He added on, his voice taking a serious note.

"But we told him we quit." Bree replied as she put her hands on her hips.

"Yea, we don't even want to talk to each other." Chase pointed out. "Why would we want to work together?"

"Yea." Adam agreed but caught himself. "And I'm not agreeing with him, I'm just emphasizing his point." He clarified and Davenport sighed.

"Look, I'm getting tired of your selfish attitudes. It is your duty to complete this mission." Davenport told them firmly and I frowned. I knew they wouldn't budge. Leo and I had been trying the entire three weeks.

"No. It was our duty. But then people started protesting against us on our own front lawn. Maybe the world needs to get a taste of what it's like without us." Chase argued, his voice holding heat in it. He had good points, but they were a team. They always had been.

"Yea!" Adam exclaimed, getting excited again. "Still not agreeing with him, I just feel the exact same way he does." He clarified again before walking off. With a loud sigh, Chase grabbed my hand and we left as well, making sure to go in the opposite direction Adam did.
