"Alright, Adam. We borrowed big D's hydrogen powered gold cart to help you practice for your driving test." Leo explained to Adam who sat in the golf cart. We were on the farthest part of the lab, and had made sure to clear a path for the cart. Leo had placed a test dummy next to Adam,  none of us wanted to risk our lives by sitting in the car. Leo held a clip board with a check list of things Adam needed to practice. "First step, seat belts." He told Adam.

"Okay, focus." Adam told himself in a steady breath before grabbing the seat belt aggressively and buckling it. "Yes!  Zero to buckle in under five seconds." He celebrated loudly before holding his hand up to me for a high five. I smacked his hand as hard as I could, and he hardly noticed. I heard a familiar laugh and the sound of lab doors opening, and when I looked to my right, Chase was walking in through the back entrance of the lab.

"Oh, look, a dummy driving a dummy." He smiled as he set a black, metal box he was carrying down on the bench next to the rock wall.

"Ooh, what does this button do?" Adam asked before jamming his finger into the small button on the steering wheel.

"No!" Leo and I called out but we were too late. Chase screamed as the golf cart quickly drove towards him.

"Brake!" Leo screamed and Adam finally hit the break, causing the dummy to fly out of the cart and straight into a screaming Chase. They both collapsed on the floor.

"Wish all buttons did that." Adam said happily from the drivers seat.

"Oh, look, a dummy on top of a dummy." I said with a sarcastic smile when Chase propped himself up on his elbows. He shot me a glare and I shrugged in reply.

The next morning, Bree, Chase, Leo, and I were all in the living room waiting for Adam to come home from asking his drivers test. Leo was by the stairs, looking out the window to see if he was coming home yet, while Bree, Chase, and I sat on the couch. Bree was reading a magazine, Chase was on his phone, and I was staring at the ceiling.

"I cannot believe Adam's not back from his driving test. What's taking him so long?" Leo asked us and I let out a sigh. Bree looked up from her magazine.

"Two words: Adam, test." She made a 'duh' face.

"Man, if he passes, it's good news for us and bad news for everyone on the road." Chase said before laughing a little. "Or the sidewalk." He added with a smirk.

"Well, he has to pass. I need him to drive me to that party on Saturday." Leo told us, walking closer to the door.

"What party?" Chase asked, causing Leo to laugh at him.

"The one you weren't invited to." Leo said with a straight face.

"You got invited to Caroline Davis' party and I didn't?" Bree asked Leo, her face contorted in shock.

"Neither did I." Chase offered.

"Well, no surprise there." She replied with furrowed eyebrows.

"I did." I shrugged.

"You haven't even talked to her!" Bree exclaimed and I shook my head.

"You don't even like parties." Chase added.

"Uh, hey. I like parties sometimes. Besides, we have biology together." I shrugged. "The real question is why were you invited?" I asked Leo.
