Third person POV
"I'm your father." The man smiled when he saw Adam, Bree, and Chases confused faces.
"What do you mean, you're our father?" Chase asked, his brows furrowed.
"Yea, he's our father." Bree told him as she pointed to Davenport.
"No, that's what he's been telling you." The man replied as he walked around.
"I don't know who you are, but you're going down." Adam told the man aggressively before the three of them began to run towards him, but they stopped when they realized they were now inside the cage with Davenport. Davenports eyes widened when he realized what had happened, stepping to the other side of the cage to talk to the man.
"You mastered short range teleportation before I did? I've been working on that for years!" Davenport grumbled loudly.
"I know. I'm awesome." The man replied with the same smug smile Marcus had.
"You're still going down." Adam said before pausing. He stared at his arms in silence, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "My super strength. It's gone." He explained finally. Bree gave Adam a worried glance before trying her super speed, it was no use.
"So is my speed." Bree told her siblings, her voice sounding nervous.
"I've got nothing." Chase said with a worried look to Davenport.
"That's because I designed these lasers to block the signals from your bionic chips." The man explained as he laughed. "That's right. Daddy gave you toys, but he can also take them away." He shot them an evil smile.

Anastasia's POVI slowly opened my eyes, squinting a little at the bright light. When I did, I looked around. I was in a small forest, covered with snow and trees. I could feel my body shivering from the cold, and when I looked down at my arms they were pale and wet from the falling snow. I quickly scanned the area around me, not remembering how I got here.
"H-hello?" I called through catering teeth. A gust of wind blew past me, causing me to look towards where it came from. My heart dropped when I saw the familiar blue and white house that usually only resided in my nightmares.
Taking one last glance around me, I began walking towards the home. As I walked, I got warmer and warmer and when I finally stepped foot on the porch, the snow had stopped. I carefully opened the familiar rickety white door and stepped inside my old home. Only now, it wasn't filled with hate and sorrow, but it was filled with love and warmth. It looked identical to how it did the day before my mother died, I had replayed that day in my head thousands of times. It even smelt like her. I slowly walked into the living room, but my feet stopped in place when I saw my mother sitting in her favorite arm chair by the fire place.
"Mom?" I asked as I felt tears swell in my eyes. She slowly turned around in her chair and that's when I saw it. Her face was rotted and green and she had a hole in the side of her mouth. Her red hair was matted and wet and her clothes were torn up. The only other thing on her face was a look of hate, directed towards me. The love and warmth quickly dissipated from the room, leaving me feeling cold and scared once again.
I took another glance at the house and realized not just the feeling had changed, but so had the house. The house now looked the way it had when I had left. Some of the walls had been punched through, there were empty beer bottles on the ground, and the entire house smelt of liquor.
