Feelings

Donnie's Pov

After running a pretty long distance, almost halfway to the lair. I turned around, Furia still hasn't come out and I was starting to get worried. That's when all of a sudden I heard Furia scream,

"You've got to be kidding me!!" 

I dropped Furia's bag and start running back. I started to panic. I wonder what could be wrong, what if she's hurt. Oh I hope not.

I can hear the alarm counting down. I ran even faster, my heart was pounding. Oh I hope she's okay.

"TEN...

 NINE...

EIGHT...

SEVEN..."

 I ran in the tunnel to see Furia had gotten her bo-staff stuck and was struggling. 

"Come on Come on Come on Come on!" She kept repeating as she pulled on her staff trying to get it loose. I quickly made my way over and tried to help her get it unstuck.

"I TOLD YOU TO RUN TO THE LAIR!" She screamed over the alarm. I cringed at her volume. I gave her a confused expression. I couldn't just leave her, what does she think I am.

"SIX...

 FIVE..."

"I COULDN'T JUST LEAVE YOU HERE!" I yelled as I finally got the staff unwedged and we both fell forward, me landing on top of Furia. She was holding me off, by putting her hands at my diagram and I had my hands on the ground on the sides of her head. We both had our eyes wide. I swallowed hard and blushed nervously. I could see Furia starting to hold a bright red blush too.

"Uh I..." I was cut off but the alarm.

"FOUR....

THREE...

TWO..." I jumped up and yanked Furia up with me. I started to run, practically dragging Furia, who was trying her best to keep up.

"ONE!!!" The alarm screeched. I breathed heavy as nothing happened. I sighed and slowed my run a little. Hmm it must have had a defect.

***BAM!!!***

I was flung forward from the explosion, landing hard on my shell. My vision went fuzzy for a second but soon became clear. I groaned as I could hear a soft ringing noise in my ears. I lifted myself off the ground slowly and looked around. The whole tunnel had been scattered everywhere, dust and pipes everywhere. I coughed as I inhaled the musty air. I turned, searching for Furia in the debris. I didn't see her. I bit my lip. 

"Don't panic, Don't Panic" I whispered to myself, I could feel myself slipping into a panic. I breathed heavily, spinning around the room slowly. Finally  I saw her crouched on the ground, covering her ears. I could hear her whimpering. I don't know how I hadn't heard it when I was searching. I made my way towards her.

"Ugh Make it stop!" She growled, hiding her ears more. I looked around and then I looked her over. Nothing was wrong, what could she possibly want me to stop? I stood there confused. I mean what am I suppose to do? I have no idea what's even happening or what to stop? Then I finally saw her flop fully onto the ground, exhausted. 

"Ugh." She sounded as if she was totally drained.

"Um Furia not to sound stupid or anything, but uh what just happened?" I questioned as I helped her up, Furia leaning on me for support.

"In..." She closed her eyes tightly. "In-Increased Hearing. Ugh I have such a head ache."
