Forgetting what matters

Donnie's Pov

I sat down at my desk. I slammed my fist down. Why can't I do anything right! I had locked myself n my lab ever since we got home. I went to run after Furia but Leo stopped me. What was he thinking?! She could be hurt, cold, lost, hungry. I frowned. Or she could be broken. I looked down, Furia words repeating in my head. 

'And you. I was foolish to like you.'

The words rung in my ears. S-She actually liked me? Why was I so clueless to this. No maybe she just meant like a friend. I mean I have gotten that wrong before. 

(Flash Back) 

April walked toward me. I took a deep breath. I can do this. 

"H-Hey April." My voice cracked. I blushed from embarrassment. 

"Hey Donnie." She stopped in front of me. Okay now is my chance. I took a step forward smashing my lips into Aprils. I melted into the kiss. Her lips were so soft. She pushed me off roughly. 

"DONNIE!? What do you think you were doing?" She looked at me disgusted. 

"B-But y-you told me you liked m-me." I stuttered out. 

"Yeah as a friend! I like Casey!" She stomped out of the lair. I felt tears trickle down my cheeks.

(Flash Back End) 

I pulled out Furia's Mask, staring at it. The Teal color staring back at me.

"Where are you princess?" I whispered as a tear slid down my cheek.

Furia's Pov

"Ow." I whimpered out, my head pounded with pain. I pulled myself off the concrete. I looked around. It was daytime. I walked over to the sidewalk. I was about to walk with the crowd when I heard a scream. 

"MUTANT!!" A little girl panicked, pointing at me. That's when it hit me. I'm not wearing my hat and my tail is out. My eyes were wide and I took a step back.

"It'll kill us all!" Another person shouted. 

"No I..." I started only to get interrupted. 

"Get it!!!" They all charged at me. I gasped and took off running. My heart pounded and my breathing was quick. I kept running, looking back to see them not so far away. I turned a corner and that's when I saw it an abandoned warehouse. I picked up the pace. I didn't have time to search for the door. I crashed through a window, shattering it. My body slammed onto the ground and onto the glass that was now scattered on the ground. I felt the small shard pricking into my skin. I quickly picked myself up, hiding behind a crate that was in the warehouse. I could hear all the people rush by. I breathed heavily, sliding my back down the crate. 

"Ah." I winced, holding my arm. I pulled out a big shard of glass out of my skin. My whole body was aching in pain. I need to heal, I finally decided. I started to concentrate hard on healing my body. 

"Heal...Heal...Heal...Heal.." I whispered over and over. I didn't feel anything. I looked down to see I still had cuts on my legs. I felt myself begin to panic. 

"Why isn't it working?!" I asked myself frantically. That's when it hit me, when my body tried to heal my emotional pain, it must have messed up my healing power. But what emotional pain was it healing, I don't remember. I closed my eyes trying to remember last night. Images flashed in my mind. Of me running in the rain, crying, healing, and then last of all falling off a building. None of the memories helping me remember. 

"It must have been really bad if my body wanted to heal it away." I sighed, standing up and starting to head home. Maybe my mom would know. I hid in the shadows as I traveled home. 

Casey's Pov

I walked into the lair, smirking. I stopped at the couch waving to Raph. 

"Sup Raph." 

"Hey Casey." Raph stated plainly as he looked down. Somethings up, Raph isn't being himself. I shrugged it off and headed into the kitchen. Leo was leaning again the table, he looked upset. 

"What's wrong Leo?" I questioned and he jumped. 

"Uh um nothing. " He stammered out. 

"Seriously Leo what's going on?" I was confused but mostly concerned. 

"Its Furia." He looked down. My eyes widened and I felt chills rack my body. 

"Where is she?" I sounded panicked and I was. Leo looked up at me.

"Well last night she found out something and she ran off. She's gone." He looked down at his feet. I took a step back. All I could hear was my heart hammering against my chest. 

"G-Gone." I stuttered out. 

(Flash Back-- Six Years Ago)

I sat on my front porch with a cop next to me. 

"I'm sorry son. Your parents didn't make it." He stated sadly. I choked back tears. 

"What about my sister?" My eyes watered and I suddenly felt chills travel up my spine. 

"She's Gone."

(Flash Back End) 

My eyes started to sting with tears. I quickly wiped them away and slammed my fist down on the table. Leo jumped from my sudden aggression. 

"No!" I shouted angrily. I pulled my mask down, covering my face. "I'll find her." I growled and started my way to the exit. I heard someone say my name but I ignored them. I had to find Furia. I wasn't going to lose another family member. 

"Don't worry sis I'll find you." I whispered to myself. 

Leo's Pov

I sighed as I watched Casey exit the lair. Everyone was taking it pretty bad. Raph, Mikey, Splinter, me, and especially Donnie and Casey. April hadn't found out yet and I didn't want to be the one to tell her. I frowned, maybe it wasn't a good idea to stop Donnie from running after her. I just, I thought it would be best if she cooled down but after everyone had gone to sleep that night I went searching. I didn't find her anywhere. I'm afraid something really bad happened to her. But if I tell the guys I had searched for her and didn't find her, well I'm just afraid of how Donnie will react. He hasn't left his room since last night. I worried about him. I didn't know he cared that strongly for Furia. Poor Furia. 

"Where are you?"
