Finding Out

Furia's Pov

"Well I don't have anything to wrap your neck in besides this scarf." The nurse stated nervously. I grabbed the black and red striped scarf, placing it around my neck.

"And I also think you should take it easy, so I will be taking your name off the detention list along with your friend Casey." She smiled. I chuckled, sometimes our school nurse is too nice for her own good.

"Thanks." I muttered and started to make my way out of the building. Casey following close behind. I pushed open the heavy door that led out of the building. I watched as Casey walked over to his bike, hopping on and holding out a helmet for me.

"Nah I'll walk." I waved him off. Casey jumped off his bike and walked towards me.

"Furia I'm worried about you." He frowned.

"Why?" I spat, confused.

"Because..." He paused. "I feel so close to you and..." He took a deep breath. "Furia I lost my family a while ago and I-I don't know. I finally feel like a have a little sister again when your around." My eyes went wide I didn't know he felt this close. "I know we barely know each other but." He closed his eyes looking down. "I don't want anything to happen to you too." He muttered sadly. I smiled and took a step forward.

"Casey, you boob." I chuckled, causing him to look up. "I'm just walking home. I will be fine... I promise." He smiled at me.

"Your the boob." He laughed.

"Whatever you say." I grinned. "Well I gotta get home." I kissed Casey on the cheek.

"Bye big bro."

And with that I started to walk home. I smiled, I finally am getting my life back together. I moved the cover of the sewer. A new family that accepts me. I giggled and jumped in. I slid the top back and started to make my way home. My neck throbbed painfully. I turned a tunnel now heading away from the lair. When I thought I was finally far enough I sat down with my legs crossed. I wouldn't let them know about what happened. I started to meditate.

"Heal....Heal...Heal...Heal." I mumbled repeatedly until I could feel my neck burning with pain. I clenched my teeth together, trying not to scream out in agony. I went on my knees, holding my neck in pain. I shut my eyes tightly, tears started to run down my cheeks. Finally I took a big intake of air and the pain was gone. I collapsed onto my stomach, breathing heavily. Healing takes a lot more out of me when I'm awake. I stood up and bit my lip. Whenever I do that the pain is changed into emotional pain or in other words, the pain changes into dreams, thoughts, images........ nightmares. I have nightmares every time I close my eyes because of my automatic healing. And healing when I'm awake takes a lot of energy I'm surprised I didn't pass out. I sighed and started to make my way to the lair.

*Time skip, The lair*

I walked into the lair to see Raph and Mikey battling in a video game.

"Ha eat my dust." Mikey bragged as he won the game. I watched as Raph clenched his fists. "Ha I thought you were the best Raph? haha" Mikey continued to tease.

"Oh I'm gonna get..." Raph tackled Mikey to the ground. I chuckled and walked toward the lab. I was about to open the door when it slid open by itself, scaring me out of my skin.

"Ah!" I screamed, taking a step back. As Donnie stepped out of the lab.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." He chuckled. I straightened up immediately.

"I-I-I wasn't scared." I stuttered out. "Just surprised is all." I blushed embarrassed.

"Whatever you say." Donnie laughed, walking back into the lab. I blushed even more if that's even possible. I coughed and followed after him.
