Chapter 30

A few months later

***Liam's POV***

Me and the other agents were standing in front of the huge house. It was said that an Australian teenage boy lived there all on his own but no one had ever seen him. Me and my men were sent to find him, starting at his house.

I was the first one to go inside since I was leading this investigation. My good friend and colleague Thomas came with me inside while the others were waiting outside making sure the coast was clear and we could get in safe.

"This house is huge. Are you sure he lives here on his own?" Thomas asked me. "Yeah, I guess. That's all that was told me" I answered.

"What even is the name of this mystery boy?" Thomas laughed as we walked up the stairs. "Michael Clifford I believe, that's whose name this house is registered to" I said walking through the large hallway on the first floor.

"Do you even know what he looks like?" Thomas asked. "No I don't but we'll figure that out" I said.

Thomas was standing in front of a door looking quite shocked. I wonder what he had found. I hoped so badly it wasn't anything bad.

"Hey Thomas what did you fi-... Oh god" I said. I was shocked. I had seen many things in my life but this was by far the worst.

It was a huge room with dry bloodstains covering huge parts of the floor. That wasn't even the worst.

The corpses of three teenagers were lying beside each other.

Firstly on the right was laying a boy with blonde hair. He had a lip ring and he was wearing a flannel and skinny jeans. He was covered in bruises and he also had a huge stab wound in his chest.

Beside that boy there was laying a girl. Not just any girl. I knew her. Ana. Tears streaming down my face. When I was little I used to play with her since her parents were friends with mine. Ana had multiple wounds. Probably from a knife.

Lastly on the left of Ana there was laying a boy in her arms with Black hair. He had an eyebrow piercing and multiple tattoos on his arms. He was the only one out of three that had a smile on his face. He had a stab wound in his chest too and there was a sharp knife covered in blood laying beside him.

I walked closer to her and Thomas following me. I saw their skin was dry and a green shade since there was no blood streaming through their veins anymore.

I looked at Thomas and I saw the tears being formed in the corner of his eyes. I knew he recognised Ana too.

"Thomas can you go down and warn the others please" I asked with a voice which you could clearly hear that I was trying to hold back my tears. Thomas nodded and he left the room.

I was now standing here alone. How could they possibly have died? I looked around looking for some kind of evidence.

It didn't take me long before I saw a chair with a phone balanced on it across the room.

I walked towards it and grabbed it. The battery had died. I was curious what there possibly was to find on it. Maybe the identity of the two mystery boys. I bet one of them must've been Michael. But who was the other one?

I charged the phone and waited for it to turn on. When it turned on the screen lit up. I saw a picture of the black haired boy with Ana. Maybe they were in love.

I unlocked the phone. Surprisingly there was no code on it which luckily for me only made it easier.

The phone opened up on the camera. Maybe there were pictures of before they died. I went to the camera roll and there was nothing on it but 1 video. I pressed on it and played it. I saw the black haired boy and he was talking to the camera.

"Hello there. You may have found our dead bodies. I don't know who you are and you probably don't know who I am so just let me clear it up for you"

"My name is Michael Clifford. I'm currently 19 years old and I am originally from Sydney Australia and today June 11th 2015 is the last day I'll be here. Luke and Ana died yesterday"

"The blonde boy you see there on the right, that's Luke Hemmings I killed him but before you jump to conclusions let me explain everything"

"Also the girl beside Luke is called Ana. She's the love of my life but I can never have her. For two reasons. One, she belongs to Luke and they are perfect together. And two, I don't deserve her"

"Now let me start the story. Luke and I both grew up together in Sydney Australia. We used to hate each other. Well he bullied me for years and the day of my birthday he caused my parents death. He after that took me into his group of friends which are Calum Thomas Hood and Ashton Fletcher Irwin"

"I had my revenge. One by one I hunted down everyone Luke loved. Then he fled to this country and he met Ana. I tried to date her to make Luke jealous and I used her"

"I kidnapped Ana a few days ago and tortured her and sent pictures to Luke. He immediately came acting all innocent. But he had forgotten what he had done. He had had an Amnesia for all the years since the day my parents died. I killed Luke and shortly after Ana committed suicide cause she missed Luke and wouldn't hear the real story from me"

Michael was silent for a while and then carried on.

"Last night I tried to forget everything but I just couldn't. I feel the guilt after all those years finally coming to the surface. I know I deserve to live like this after what I had done but I can't handle to live like this any longer. So I bet you can guess what's about to happen"

"I hope you understand what has happened and please make sure Ana's corpse won't lay here forever but give her the most beautiful, most remembered funeral of all times cause she deserves the best. But I won't waste your time any longer. Thank you for watching and understanding. This is my last minute in my own personal after this I'll be free. Goodbye Earth. Goodbye forever"

After his last words he stabbed a knife into his chest and he laid down in Ana's arms and then he slowly bled to death with a smile on his face.

I took locked the phone again and took it outside to show it to the others.

"What are we going to do now?" Josh, one of my colleagues, asked. "Let's contact the police station to show them what we have found and we'll see" I said.

They nodded and we left.
