Today is the day Garrett asked me to meet up with him. I have to find a way out of here. Aunt locked the mansion back door to prevent me from running off again. Sadly, I am smarter than she is. There's a secret door in Anabeth's bedroom that lead to outside. That's how Anabeth ran off easily. Aunt Monica never knew that. Lucky her.

Even when Aunt Monica locked Anabeth's bedroom door. She still got away until aunt finally gave up searching for her. It's almost midnight. What should I do? Hopefully Anabeth isn't home.

I slowly open Anabeth's bedroom door. She wasn't on her bed. Lucky me. I made my way to the secret door, which aunt think it was just a closet. Anabeth told the servants not to open that closet so no one really know which the door lead to.

I slowly open it, trying to be as quiet as possible. Until, a voice made me gasp in horror.

"Going to see that Garrett of your?" Anabeth said, smirking behind me. I thought she wasn't here.

I turn to face her, "you are one fast witch, you know? I didn't even hear you come in here."

Anabeth grin at me. "Actually, I was here the entire time to see my sister sneak into my room to see a man." Anabeth face light up when she said the word 'man.' Oh no.

"Can I please go with you?" She shriek. I frowns deeply. "No! You have to stay here or else aunt-"

"I think Aunt Monica doesn't even care when I'm gone. But when you're gone, she went wild. So, let me go?" This is what I hate about her sometime.

A loud knock thunder Anabeth's bedroom door. "Anabeth? Are you in there?" Aunt Monica voice yelled from the hall. "Yes, auntie!" Anabeth yelled back hesitated.

Anabeth push me in the closet door that lead to the outside. "Go!" She half whisper half yelled. "I'll deal with aunt." She said and close the door.

I finally found the door that lead outside. I'm have to thank Anabeth for this.

"You took forever, Anamaria!" Garrett yelled as he saw me approached. Why did I came here the first place? To get away with family's problem?

I took a seat next to him and watch the view of the illuminate moon and stars. "What's going in your life?" I asked Garrett. Garrett chuckled and look up at me. "My life is going pretty good," he said and he turned back to watch the stars. "What about you?" He asked. "You seem down lately."

I sigh before speaking, "I really don't know. Sometime I just want to get away from my family and the world." He curve into a low smile, "I guess we're alike then." I smile at him, I can't help but to stare at his alluring curved lip. I love watching him smile, it's my strange habbit. Am I falling for him? No I can't be! He may seem like a good guy but how would my aunt feel if I fall in love with a farmer's son? She would disapprove us. Beside, I don't even know if he like me back. Wait, Anamaria. What are you saying? You can't like him! He would turned you down just like Prince Harper! But he's not a prince!

I fought my thought from going too far. Thing are starting to get a little quiet between us. "So," he broke the silence. "What do you like?" What do I like? You. Anamaria, stop! "What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Your hobbies," he said. I think for a few minutes...my hobbies. "I like to go horseback riding, exploring, I like to read and dance." I can never get tired of his alluring smile.

"I love horseback riding!" He exclaims, "and exploring! My half brother and I used to get along when we were little and we would sneak out and explore the world." I guess we have things in common. "My hobbies are fencing-"

I cut him off before he could finished, "seriously? I love fencing! I used to watched my cousin's fencing tournament all the time! I wish I know how to fence. Even my sister know how to fence..." I said softly and sadly,

He lift my chin up with his two finger, "don't be sad," he said. "I can teach you how to fence if you want."

"You will?" I jumped, he nodded. I hugged him tightly and thank him. I suddenly realized what I was doing, I quickly pull away. My cheek flushed.

I sat down and started to speak, "My cousins are all guys and my sister would hang out with them more than me." Jealously hit me. I told myself not to be jealous for this stupid reason. I did it anyway. I was jealous. My cousins are all guys, they like to hang out with Anabeth more than me.

That's because Anabeth is beautiful and a true beauty given by God. There's me, Anamaria, the heiress blonde girl who lacked beauty. "You sound a little jealous," Garrett interrupted my thought.

"That's because I am! My sister is a true beauty. My cousins are all guys and they like to play with my sister more than me because my sister is beautiful. I lacked beauty. I am nothing compare to my sister. She is extraordinary because she was born rare beautiful." I said harshly. Jealously hits me hard.

"That's because they get irritated by you, Anamaria. That's why they don't want to play with you." I gave him a death glare as he smirks at me.

I walked closer to him. "Take it back, right now." I whispered softly. He back away while smirking. I started to chase him. "Anamaria! Stop!" He yelled, half serious, half laughing.

I tripped on a rock while chasing him. I lose my balance and fell on the ground. "Anamaria!" Garrett yelled and came back to me. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Can you walk?" He asked, worried. "Of course I can! I just fell, it's not like I've been stabbed or anything." I said. I can't get enough of his smile!

There was a silence between us. I was about to break the silence until Garret picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "What are you doing?" I asked. Now I am worried. What is he think he's doing. We were at the edge of a mountain. This isn't good. "Garrett, don't you dare drop me or else I will-" "Who said anything about dropping you?" He put me down and I sat to continued watching the stars again.

Garrett tickles me and I shriek. I am extremely ticklish. "Garrett! Stop right now or else-"

The next thing I know I was on top of him...
