Anamaria
It's hard to believe when someone offered to help you when you don't remember anything.
I watched the sky from the chamber balcony feeling overwhelmed about life. I tried to think but nothing came in mind. What happened the last time, before I completely forgotten. Kyle told me about the explosion but it wasn't clear. All he told me was he found me in an explosion. Is there a war going on? What's happening to the world.
The door creak open and the servant ran up to me.
"My lady, are you alright?"
I nodded. "I'm fine," I let out a relieve sigh. Sadness is the word, darkness is the setting. I imagine myself sitting in a dark room with my head's down.
"Who am I?" I asked the maid. She look at me in confusion.
"Lady Anamaria, my lady." She answered back, studying my face. "Lady Anamaria of Drysdale."
I frown as the word Drysdale came out of her mouth. What's wrong with Drysdale?
"I-"
She cut me off, " my lady....I can promise you that you'll be safe with his highness but I can't tell you certain thing because his highness doesn't want me to." The older maid said with her blue eyes glued to mine.
She's talking about a prince. Please don't tell me she meant...
A door slam opened and shut my thought. Garrett rush to me and kneel down beside my bed.
"Where am I?" I frown and turn my head away from his gorgeous face.
His large hand touch my arm and electricity shiver over me. My eyes widen. What is this feeling? I can't tell.
At the same time, I was fearful of him when he stabbed Bryan. He's a murder. So is Bryan. But he saved my life.
Who is this stunning handsome men?
Will he harm me?
My mind is going crazy at the moment. It can't be. For some reason, I picture a ballroom with people dancing. Two men were talking. I breathe in frustration to stop my thought. A pretty girl came up to me, with a classy guy that look like a prince.
"Anamaria, you'll be staying here for a while." I rolled my eyes and clutch my fist in frustration.
"Garrett, I want to go home. I want to go back to where I came from." I said as I got up and attempt to walk out of the room. He pull me back, causing me to fall on top of him on the bed. The maids looked at us as we quickly pulled away from each other.
He grabbed my wrist, "you can't go back to Drysdale...it's not safe. Especially when you can't remember a thing. You can't trust anyone."
"Exactly," Anamaria said. "What makes you think that I'll trust you? I don't know who you are, nor I am related to you." There was a long serene paused, "I want my memories back," I said.
Garrett frowned, and I looked at him. "Why don't you want me to have my memories back?" I asked. He looked at me with perplex, "Anamaria, that's not what I mean-"
"I'm so confused," I said out loud. For some reason I forgot that there's servants in the room. He made me forget the world, he made me forget everything revolving around me. What's wrong with him?
"Anamaria, do you really want to go back to Drysdale?" He asked.
I nodded, "of course. If that's where I came from."
Garrett didn't say anything, he was about to leave but I grabbed his wrist. "Wait," I said.
I could see his lip curved into a smile, I gave him a irritated glanced. "I have a question."
"What is it?" He asked.
"Why am I called 'Lady'?" I asked him. Isn't lady are supposed to be super rich and related to the royal or something.
He didn't spoke. I raised my eyebrows and he hold his glance at me. "Your father was a sir," was the last thing he said to me before existing the bedroom.
The maids excuses themselves and left. I laid on the ground sitting cross leg. "My father was a sir?" I asked myself in disbelief.
