I woke up to the sound of the bird chirping as I covered my ears with the pillow I'm sleeping on. Sleeping in Ravernica is different from home. I had a peaceful sleep last night.

No nightmare.
No dream.
Serene.

I was suddenly greeted by a knocking on the door.

Sleepily, my eyeslashes flutter open. I frown. I slowly got out of bed, fixing my nightgown and combing my hair with my finger.

Opening the door, revealed the smiling Dermones. Before I can say anything, he twirl me around.

I caught off guard as he put me down. "You're in a good mood today," I said as he smirked.

"You should be," was his reply. "Breakfast is ready in twenty five minutes, feel free to walk around the castle. Just not the 3rd floor."

I chuckle as he left. "By the way," he yelled from behind a the door. "I have something to tell you after breakfast, cause I don't have enough energy to talk right now." His footstep slowly faded as I take a look at myself in the mirror. I look terrible.

After taking a bath in the private bathroom, I comb my hair and made my way down stair. There were too many stairs, I kinda wish my room was on the second floor or something.

As I was at the 3rd level, a guard who I saw with Beth yesterday caught my eyes. He gave me a slight bow before making his way downstairs.

"What did I say about bowing?" He look confused for a second. "Oh, I'm sorry my lady."

I rolled my eyes as he look at me in surprise. "Is that my name?" I asked as I see a little of his lip curved into a grin. He shook his head. "What's my name?" I asked.

"Anamaria," he reply. He extended his hand, "I'm Nick," he said.

"Nick?" I asked to make sure if I heard it correctly.

"Nick," he nodded. He turn his heel to walk downstairs as I thought about Beth. Nick looked up at me and studied me.

"Why aren't you walking?" He asked with perplex. Why do I always think about Beth whenever I see him since yesterday?

Most importantly, does Beth know I'm here?

"Anamaria," Nick snapped me out of thought. "Yeah, I'm sorry." I said as I ran downstair leaving Nick perplex.

I was trying to find a garden with some fresh air but I accidentally found a kitchen instead.

"Do you need help?" I asked the servant as she shook her head. "No thank you, my lady. I'm fine." She said as she struggle to get the flour out of the tall cabinet.

I walked by the cabinet and grab the flour bucket my raising my head. The servant quietly thank me as she went back to do her work.

Nora ran into the kitchen with vegetables in her hand, "good morning my lady." She said with her usual happy mood.

"Do you need help with anything, Nora?" I asked as she shook her head.

"No, my lady. I don't think his majesty would be happy if he find out."

"Nora, I love cooking....please please please let me." I begged.

Nora smile and nodded. I jump and hug the elder women in wrong of me. I love Nora's smile, they reminded me of....my mom.

"What shall we make for breakfast?" Nora asked.

"A soup!"

"A soup?" Nora looked surprised. "In the morning?" She asked carefully. I nodded as she gave me a perplex look.
