Anamaria

"This girl worth more than a kingdom," he said while drinking the champagne.

"I'm sorry?" I asked, I couldn't hear him because I was daydreaming trying to get my life back.

His eyes widen, "nothing." He said and smiled at me.

I sigh and close my eyes. "You know, Anamaria...we should get marry as soon as possible.

"Sure," I said as I took a deep breath. I didn't feel like getting marry, I don't even don't know how old I am."

Within a second, images flash through my head. Nineteen, my mind was telling me. Nineteen.

Bryan studied my face for a fearful second and took a deep breath.

He smile as he took another sip of his tea. "Can I leave now?" I asked.

"Our chamber is that way," he point at the large hall.

I walk back to the chamber, trying so hard to remember my past. It was useless. No matter how hard I tried, it does not work.

Before I can open the chamber door, a unclosed door caught my eyes. I wanted to go take a walk but I knew that the guards wouldn't let me. I look behind me to make sure no one was following me. Fear rush into me like something is going to happened. I took a deep breath to relieve my fright before walking out. The door led to the castle's garden. At the back of the garden was a huge gate blocking.

Leave the gate, my mind was telling me to leave. Go on, Anamaria. Leave the gate.

I slowly walk toward and secure the movement behind me. Good, no one is here.

"Alright," I said to myself. I slowly unlock the gate door and open slowly. I was glad no one was here. I exit the castle and walk around. A loud noise was coming from the forest so I decided to walk in the forest to take a look.

My heart shattered as I reach the end of the trail. Fire is the word. Women were being beaten up. Children is being buried alive. Men were being burned and animals were being used as a weapon.

I wanted to yell stop but I know it's not going to help. I would get myself killed and they will get more angry. I run away from hell and started crying in the middle of forest. Is that why they took me here? To kill me, to torture me.

When I first arrived, they put me in prison and the next thing I knew was that Bryan told me I'm his fiancée. This isn't right. If I was the future queen, why did they took me to prison at first. What is going on? I don't understand. Is Bryan lying to me? Everything doesn't feel right. I need the truth. What is the truth?

"Anamaria," a voice said from the distance.

My body froze and glue to the ground as Bryan came near me. "Is there something going on?" He whispered sweetly in my ear.

Something was telling me Bryan is lying to me. I need to know the truth.
I didn't move.

"You're lying to me, Bryan." I said seriously look straight in his eyes.

"Lying? Sweetheart, stop that. You have amnesia. You don't remember." He said with a innocent smile.

"You're not my fiancé. And I'm not your future queen." I said.

He smirk at me, "you remembered now?"

I knew it. He was lying to me. I shook my head, "no. But you just admitted to me that you were lying to me."

"Still can't forget that Garrett?" He gave me a wicked smile.

"I don't know what you're talking about?"

"Tell me, Lady Anamaria. Did you and Garrett have something going on that we don't know about?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, Bryan." I said as I slowly back away from him.

"You know exactly what I was talking about."

"Stay away from me!" I demanded.

Bryan walk toward me, he suddenly stopped in track and pull out something from his pocket. A dagger.

I gasp as he smirk at me. This is the last day of my life. Bryan yanked me toward him and I squeeze my eyes shut to avoid the deadly scene. I heard Bryan screamed.

I was expecting Bryan to stabbed me but he never did. I opened my eyes to see Bryan dead on the ground. The dagger went in his stomach. I covered my mouth in shock to see a brown hair guy

"Anamaria," the guy said and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I tried to pull away from his arms but he hold me tighter.

"Help!" I screamed as the mysterious guy covered my mouth. "Shhh-It's okay. It's just me." He said with a charming smile.

The inside of me was telling me to trust him but the outside of me was telling me not to trust anyone. A tear drop rolled down my face.

"Stay away from me," I said. "Who are you?" I asked him. He was very similar. He has a light brown eyes with a perfectly comb brunette hair.

His smile suddenly faded. "I forgot that Kyle told me you have amnesia."

Kyle? How does he know Kyle? "How did you-" I was cut off by the stranger kissing my forehead. When he lean back, I slap him.

"Don't you do that again, I don't even know you and don't touch me." I threatened.

"We know each other, we love each other."

I shook my head, "I was stupid enough to believe Bryan. I don't want to be stupid by believing you." The inside of me was melting. Like a girl desperate for something.

"You're not stupid for believing me, Anamaria." He said.

"Who are you?" I asked for like a million times.

"Garrett," he said. The name made my heart stopped.

Garrett. The name that was very familiar to me. Think Anamaria. Think.

I was serene as Garrett stare at me. "I can't do it," I whisper to him. "I can't remember anything." Tears rolled down my eyes and I fell on my knee.

Garett pat my back and stroke my hair. "Anamaria, everything will be alright. I promise you. I would never leave you again." He paused for a seconds before taking a deep breath, "let's go home. Lucifer is waiting outside of the forest. I nodded and follow him.

Another similar man was waiting with a chestnut horse.

"Where are we going?" I asked Garrett.

He smile at me and wrap his hand around mine, "I would never let you go again, Anamaria."
