I was right, they took me to prison. When I asked them what I did wrong, they ignored me. I don't understand why my prison cell has mattress and pillow, when the other prisoners has dirty cell and an small empty room with no furniture.
The other prisoners weren't friendly with me. Every glance, I caught evil eyes. I guess I'm the most hated one here.
I was so perplex of what's going on around me. Who am I? Why or what am I doing in prison.
Two young guards appeared and open my cell. "The master want to talk to you," the short guards said. Master?
The guards lead me to a huge castle. It wasn't a castle like it was written in he book. It was a dark castle with dirty brick walls. I can feel myself tearing apart. The castle garden wasn't colorful and beautiful like people say. It was black roses with dead flowers. Also, poisoned ivy.
I sat in a luxury creepy waiting room for hours with guards. The door finally opened as one young men walks in. I glance at his face and he gave me back a cold glare.
I raised my eyebrows as he make his way to the king chair. How is it possible for such a young person to be king?
He sat on the throne watching me. He didn't speak. I remain silence, while staring at me. The knight glance at each other in perplex."Leave," the young king said. At first I thought he was talking to me. I stood up and he told me to say back down. "I'm referring to my knights," he said coldly at me. My skin shivered at his deep voice. The guards bow and quickly rushed out of the room.
I wanted to follow them because I don't feel comfortable with the king. As the door shut, I nervously turn to face the king.
"Would you like to tell me what am I doing here?" I raised my eyebrows, waiting impatiently.
The king sigh, "my lady. There's no need to be feisty around me." My Lady?! Isn't that the name for noble?
I was so confused with everything. The king seem to notice my worried expression because he quickly change the subject, at least that what I thought.
"You really don't remember anything huh? Amnesia got you good." He said and took a sip of the tea cup next to the chair.
I didn't know what he is talking about. Amnesia is probably one of the worst pain.
"No wonder why Garrett like you so much," he muttered.
I raised my head, "who's Garrett?" All I got as a respond was a smirk.
"My enemy," he said, taking a deep breath.
"What does he have to do with me?" I asked.
The young king gave me a cold smile. "Nothing, nothing at all!"
"Who are you?" I asked, I know he's the king but who is he?
"Your fiancé," he grin at me.
"My what?!" I shriek. I have a fiancé?!
"Yes, my name is Bryan." He gave me a cold smile. "We'll be getting marry next week. Darling, you have amnesia. You surely won't remember me."
His name was not similar, neither is his face. I can't immediately tell he was lying because I have amnesia. I don't remember anything. I don't even know my name.
"Can I asked you something," I glare at him.
He shrugged, "sure."
"What's my name?"
He paused before speaking, "Anamaria."
"Do I have a sister?"
He grin before speaking, "Anabeth."
It's makes sense now, I thought. That dream I had was my childhood memory. I have a sister named Anabeth. The mysterious black haired girl is my sister and I used to get in trouble a lot because of her.
I looked at my fiancé and nodded. I don't remember him. I don't even know who he is. I hope wedding bring back memories?
For some reason, I don't have a good feeling. The inside of me told me not to believe this guy but the other side of me told me to go with it. I fake him a smile.
He raised his eyebrows as drinking the champagne. He whispered, "this girl worth more than a kingdom."
