I woke up, making my way to the kitchen. Anabeth approached me as I pour the milk. "Where were you, last night?" She asked. Should I lie to her? Or should I tell her what really happened?

I start telling her the story about how I met Garrett. She seem attentive about my story. We both broke in a silence. "Where were you, yesterday?" I decided to asked her. She give me an unsettle face, "didn't you hear? The prince of Ravernica ran away! Jess and I were trying to find him."

The prince of Ravernica. Prince Garrett of Ravernica has escaped. Where could he be? Anabeth look uneasy as she studies my face, "so-anyway, anyway, what are you going to wear this next week?" I look at her puzzle, what is she talking about? She frown, "please don't make it harder for me. Didn't Aunt Monica tell you that we've been invited to a royal ball at Chadwick?" Last night, aunt was too mad at me to say anything. Chadwick is one of the powerful kingdom with magic and and the study of sorcery. Although, I don't believe in magic that much.

In Drysdale, there's no such thing as magic. No one to help you when you suffer. You must learn how to live by yourself. My uncle used to attend one of Chadwick's magic show. He said he caught a bunny under the table. There's no such thing as magic, this is reality. I break my thought as Anabeth snap at me. "I'm sorry to disturb you but I think we should go gown shopping, my old gown is too tight. I'm getting really fat." She joke as her black eyes pop up beautifully when she smiles.

When we were younger, our parents went to a fortune teller. They said that Anabeth is not an ordinary girl, she's extraordinary. No human have ever been born with natural black hair and a black sparkle eyes. Before I could think any farther, Anabeth yank and arm and drag me outside. I jump inside the carriage as the horses head off to the market. "Anabeth! I'm still in my nightgown!" I exclaimed, not really caring.

She raise her eyebrows, "if that's what you care about then I think you should go look at what the paupers wear." I chuckle at her, "I was just kidding!"
We both share a smile before getting off the carriage to the town most famous emporium. Madame Caroline's emporium. This is where the royalty buy their clothes. Anabeth offered me her arm like a gentlemen. I chuckle at her. I took her arm and walk in the emporium together holding each other arms.

Madame Caroline greeted us in front of the emporium door with excitement in her eyes. "My lady! Oh look at you, two! You both grown up so fast!" Madame gave us a hug like we haven't seen each other in a hundred year. It's only been a year. She released me and hugged my sister, who made a 'help me' face. Madame lead us inside the emporium. There were many more beautiful gown than last time. Her business has succeeded and traveled to many different kingdoms. She designed the wedding gown for the Duchess of Bavaria.

There were many costumers like baroness, waiting in the emporium. They looked worn out from waiting. "My Lady Anamaria, what kind of gown would you like to try?" Madame Caroline asked and starting to explaining about different type of gown. Anabeth looked annoyed. She doesn't even care about the service.

Madame Caroline excused herself to check on other costumers. I tap Anabeth on her shoulder and she turn in shock. "Day dreaming again little sister?" She curl her lip and fake a smile at me. My sister and I have a weird habit of day dreaming or something we both get lost from the world.

Madame Caroline approached us with a sketch book. The sketch book was filled with beautiful gown designs. I caught Anabeth's desired eyes on a white plain gown. She look good with pale and light color clothes. People said I look good with darker color clothes. As she flip the page, a design caught my eyes. The gown was perfect.

Since Anabeth didn't want to stay at the emporium for too long, we decided to stop and order the gown. She said the gown will be finished by this Thursday. Anabeth walk out of the emporium frustrated on something. "What's wrong?" I asked as I approach her. She look at me with sadness in her eyes. "The gown I wanted doesn't have my size," she said looking down. Anabeth is really skinny. Her leg is like a walking stick.

It's not that she doesn't eat. She ated a lot and she would go horseback riding around the town seeking for adventure. Berim, our older cousin, taught her how to play polo. Mother wasn't really convinced because she doesn't like the idea of Anabeth playing sport. Anabeth and I grew up with guy cousins. They were very overprotective of us because we're the only two girls cousin in the family.

Growing up with boys, Anabeth became energetic. She played with them more than me and I used to be jealous. I wondered, if Princess Pamela is going to be at the ball. She doesn't like me since when I became friend with Prince Harper.
