Chapter Twenty Five - Bonus

Beth's POV

"Your highness!" I yelled as the soldiers carry his highness to the chamber.

The doctor followed behind, as I approached him. "Doc, is the Prince is going to be alright?"

The doctor look at me and back to the Prince. "I don't know I really don't know."

We followed to his highness bedroom. Blood stain from his fitted vet. He's in an awful pain. His eyes closed as his back laid on the bed.

"You have to make him live!" Princess Christina said beside me.

"I am a doctor, I can do my best but there's no guarantee." The doctor closed the Prince chamber door.

Prince Lucifer made his way to the front door, followed by Teresa. His face looked tired. Prince Lucifer and Prince Garrett doesn't get along. The only time they talked is when they're on a quest together. Surprisingly, few weeks ago since the Chadwick Ball, they got along together. A week after, they became enemy again. Mixed feeling between the two.

In front of other people, they would act like a brother. But in the palace, many blood stain came from the two princes. One of most deadly one was five years ago when they both were fighting over a girl, not just a regular girl. A maid.

His hand was on the air about to knock on the door. He didn't. Princess Christina and I stare at him.
He glance back at us and walk downstair with Teresa.

"Tell my brother that I'm done with all his mistress, please ask him if he is ashamed of having a maid as a wife."
Princess Christina snicker as she made her way to her bedroom.

I sat down on the chair in front of the crown prince's chamber.

After an hour of waiting, the doctor came out followed by the prince's bodyguard.

"Is his highness alright?" I asked.

The doctor continued to stare, "I'm not going to be the one who is telling his and her majesty. But I don't know, His highness is in a coma."

"What-"

The doctor shook his head, "I'm sorry I really don't know what's going on with highness. But the last word he said before he fell into a deep sleep was...Anamaria."

Anamaria, the Drysdalen.

I ran downstair leaving the doctor and the body guard confused. I made my way to Nikholas, my best friend and the head guard assistant of the Ravernican soldiers.

"Nick,I have a question." I said as he said goodbye to his friend.

"Beth, do you need something?" He asked curiously.

"Does the name Anamaria sound similar to you?" I asked.

Nick wasn't one of the guard when we were at the village.

I don't know why I asked him.
But he is smart.
He might know who she is.

"The only person named Anamaria that I've ever heard of is Lady Anamaria of Drysdale. I don't think there's anyone named Anamaria in our kingdom."

"What about her?" I asked.

"Lady Anamaria of Drysdale is Lady Elizabeth and Sir Jonatan's oldest daughter and she's the heir to Sir Jonathan's wealth. Basically, she's an heiress. A very rich heiress. Her parents were killed by the Eastain."

I gasp at the last word. Her parents were killed by the Eastain, there possibility for her to be Eastain's target.

"Beth, you okay?" Nick asked, I nodded.

Does Prince Garrett know about this?

Where is Lady Anamaria right now?
