The smell of homemade cookie flew into my nose as the morning sun raised. I close my eyes, looking in the mirror. Another day of life.

As a routine, the maid knocked on my door. I spun around as the maid came in smiling. "My lady, your breakfast will be served at the palace dinning room." I smiled at her, "thank you." I said before she close the door. "Wait!" I stopped her when the door is 3 inches from closing.

"Yes, my lady?" She appeared again.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

I expect a no respond but instead she said, "Nora. My name is Nora." She smiled at me, her warm smile.

"Nice to meet you, Nora." I smiled back at her. She nodded, "my lady, I'll come to get you once the breakfast is ready."

"Thank you," I whispered softly before she close the door,

I knock my head on the wall as I sunk to the ground. "What's going with me?"
I asked myself.

After I changed, Nora came to get me for breakfast. I followed her as she took each step. Looking around, I stopped when I see a portrait. It's a portrait of a group of men in black cloak killing a women.

Nora break my thought as I follow her to the dinning room. We were greeted by guards, who opened the door to reveal Garrett. I stared at him as he stared at me neither of us.

He got up and pull out a chair for me to sit. I didn't move I just stared. He rolled his eyes as he roughly pull my arm and sit me down to the seat next to him.

I looked at the coffee and the breakfast on the table. Nothing look good. I'm actually surprised that Garrett lived in this castle by himself.

"You're not hungry?" He studied me, I nodded.

"Have a bite of bread or a sip of coffee at least."

I shook my head, "no thanks. It's fine."

"Are you going to feed yourself or am I have to feed you."

"I told you I'm not hung-" before I can finished my sentence, Garret shove the bread into my mouth. I stared at him in shock. How dare he?

I quickly swallowed the bread as I sent him a glare of death.

He shrugged, "I wouldn't done that if you would eat." I close my eyes to calm myself.

I ate a little, Garrett wasn't happy about it but I can care less. I got out of the seat to walked away but Garrett stopped me. "What now?" I rolled my eyes.

He grabbed my arm in respond and drag me harshly to the castle garden. The garden was beautiful. A beautiful waterfall statues stand in the middle.

"What's your problem?" Garrett asked,  still holding onto my arm.

"My problem?" I repeated, a little hurt. "My problem is that you wouldn't sent me home to where I came from. My problem is that-"

"Anamaria, stop it!" He yelled. The gardeners behind Garrett was eavesdropping but I refused to say. As I looked at them, they fled. I stared back at Garrett's angry eyes. They were beautiful, beautiful and mad.

I tried to pull my arm away from Garrett but he wouldn't let me. "Garrett, let go." I shake, trying to get out of his arms.

"Anamaria," he said quietly. "Do you really wanted to go?" I nodded. "Garrett please let me."

He close his eyes and nodded to himself, "alright. I'll contact Drysdale and I'll tell them that you're here. I'll let you go tomorrow morning when I drop you off at Drysdale."  He let go of my hand. I can feel my heart slowly shattering apart.

I don't like him. I don't like him. I repeated to myself.

He turned away from me trying to think. I watched him as he cautiously  take each step.

"What don't you like about me?" He asked. Before I can speak he cut me off again. "I'm sorry. That night, I shouldn't have said that to you in the first place. I shouldn't have left you. When the town exploded, I was looking all over for you! The next thing I knew was that Bryan has you.

I been making a deal with him to let you go but he refused. Anamaria, I love you."

I stared at him in disbelief. What am I supposed to say back? That I love him too? It doesn't work that way. I'm so confused.

Before I can speak. Something hard hit my skull. It felt like a tiny pebble but it hurt like a bullet. I fell into Garrett's arm as he called my name. What's happening?

Again, my eyes couldn't focus and I found myself falling into a deep sleep.
