"Taking my breath, a souvenir that you can keep"

Another late night that is spent at the green house, but this time Ivory had this weird feeling she just couldn't get rid of, no matter how much she tried to keep her mind focused on the text books in front of her.

Ever since Wednesday has talked to her after the tournament, Ivory couldn't focus on anything but the words the raven haired girl used. What was there that Ivory needed to be protected from and most of all, why would Wednesday, of all people, feel the need to do so, when not even a week prior she accused her of murder? All these thoughts swirled in the blonde's head, it was almost suffocating the fairy, so she let out a frustrated sigh and pushed the text books away from her. She wouldn't be studying any time soon.

After celebrating their win with Enid and Yoko, who felt much better after some rest, the girl made her way to the library, getting some new books to go study in the green house, but that was hours ago and she hasn't made any progress whatsoever, too worried about Wednesday's strange behaviour.

Suddenly being joined by Jaesung almost made her cry out in joy, if it wasn't for the shock of him suddenly popping up and the heart attack she almost had because of it. She put a hand on her chest, trying to regulate her heartbeat.

"Fucking hell, you have to stop doing that", she murmured under her breath, as she glanced up at him with a sour look on her face. She wasn't really mad at him, as he had done it before and she should be getting used to it by now, but the girl just scared way too easily.

"Oh, so vulgar", he pointed out and if it wasn't for the humorous look in his eyes, Ivory would've believed he was offended with the way he held a hand over his own heart and the way his brows were furrowed. But the girl barely reacted to it, already knowing it was sarcasm, instead she changed her seating position and hugged her legs close to her chest, leaning her head on her arm in an attempt to get more comfortable.

"If you know I'm studying, why would you always come back here. There's enough space to find your own spot. Thought I'm disrupting your peace.", she questioned the vampire, casually thinking back to what he told her earlier that day at the lake, her green eyes finding his blood red ones.

"I can't remember ever telling you that. In fact, I like watching you study."

It took both of them a second to process what the boy had just said and it made the girl burst out laughing. If it wasn't for the fact that he was technically undead, Jaesung was sure he would've blushed in embarrassment. He grimaced at the stupidity of his statement, before he went back to his stone cold resting face, not showing any sign of said embarrassment.

"Wow, you are a creepy stalker.", she said as she composed herself again.

"But anyways, I haven't been able to concentrate on anything so I didn't get much studying done. Sorry to disappoint", she explained and let out a sigh, looking straight ahead at all of the plants and the lights in the distance. She didn't even know why she told the boy about that, he probably didn't care, but maybe that's why she did. She just wanted to let it out.

While Ivory got lost in her thoughts, Jaesung kept his eyes trained on the side of her face. Eventhough he sat on the chair besides the girl, he kept a safe distance between them, barely seated on the actual chair and leaning away, supporting his weight on one of his legs, as to not make the girl uncomfortable. He noticed the restlessness on her face during the day, but at night she seemed even more tired. He has always been an observer, and he would've offered her to listen to her worries, but he wasn't sure if she even wanted to to talk about it.
