Ivory decided against asking Yoko about the Nightshades in the morning. They both woke up around the same time and chatted about the day ahead, but the blonde didn't feel as if it was her place to ask her roommate about a secret society, she's supposedly a part of. So, both of them just went ahead and got ready for the day's activities.

She stared at her clothes for about five minutes, already knowing she would be wearing her uniform, but the blonde would've loved to put on something a bit cuter to see Tyler. Yoko walked up to her, but even that wouldn't Ivory burst out of her thought process.

"Are you there? Ivy, you've been standing here for eternity. Are you okay?", Yoko asked as she snapped her fingers in front of the other girl's face twice. Ivory nodded as she burst out of her bubble, assuring the vampire of her well-being, when in reality she really tried to get her mind of last night's events.

Instead, she focused on the job she really wanted to do—work at the café with Tyler. The fairy noticed how she has thought about her old friend less and less over the past few days, blaming the chaotic situation she is in, so she shot him a quick text, telling him how she hoped to see him today.

'Oh me too Ivy, would love it if we worked together today :)'

With a small smile on her face the girl rushed into the bathroom to get out of her sleeping dress and finally got ready. When she got around to pulling out some jewelry from a box on her desk, Yoko was already dressed, sitting on her bed and waiting for the fairy.

"You look cute—and really happy all of a sudden, your moods switch faster than a pregnant woman's", Yoko said sending Ivory a teasing look, which the girl returned with an annoyed one.

"Ha ha, you're so funny", Yoko laughed and blew the girl a kiss, as Ivory pulled on her shoes. Ivory couldn't help the small giggle that escaped her lips then, because Yoko always knew how to crack her up.

Ivory and Yoko had a quick breakfast where they really enjoyed their solo time for once, before they walked out into the school's inner courtyard meeting up with Enid, just in time for Principal Weems' announcement. To Ivory's surprise, Wednesday etched closer to her, surprising the blonde with her sudden appearance, but she got interrupted by the principal.

"All students will report for their voluntary jobs at 10:00 AM sharp, followed by a community lunch at 1:00. As you know, this year Outreach Day culminates in a very special event, the dedication of a new memorial statue in the town square, which will also include performances by Nevermore students.", Enid shook Ivory's arm excitedly, trying to get the fairy to lighten up. It wasn't hard to notice, that Ivory was nervous. She feared seeing her old classmates. To not make the other blonde worry though, she gave Enid a small smile.

"As representatives of our school I trust you will all put your best face forward", Principal Weems said, sending a pointed look towards the pig tailed girl, that was now stood between Yoko and Ivory. Yoko sent Wednesday a weird look before taking a step back and focusing her sight on Ivy, who seemed just as confused as her.

As soon as blue envelopes started getting handed out, Ivory started getting giddy, really wanting to work at the cafe. When she got hers, a small circle started to build, consisting of Yoko, Ivory, Wednesday, Enid, Ajax and Xavier, who side-hugged the fairy and greeted her.
