When Ivory walked out of the bathroom she was met with wolf-whistles from Yoko and the girl immediately burst out laughing, doing a little turn to feed into the effect. It was saturday night, the night of the Rave'N-Dance and the two roomates were getting ready together, already dressed up and putting the last few finishing touches.

While Ivory was still a bit bummed about going alone, she was happy for Yoko and Enid and knew she could have fun with or without a date.

"The gloss and the eye shimmer were a brilliant idea, thank me later", Yoko spoke as she brushed some imaginary dust off of her shoulders. Ivory wasn't going to spend much time on her appeareance originally, but Yoko insisted that she needed to do so to complete the look and honor the dress she was gifted.

Ivory blushed and complimented the vampire right back, amazed by how well the girl pulled off her suit and paired it with some platform boots.

Ivory was driving a hand through her hair, slightly combing through the curls that Yoko did for her, when someone knocked on their door. Ivory motioned for Yoko to get it, firmly believing it was her date, to which the vampire let out a sigh, not particularly excited to leave the fairy behind for now.

"You go, I'll meet you at the dance. Atleast act like your into it please", Ivory ushered the girl forward, brushing her hands over the vampires arms in reassurance and sending her a tight lipped smile. Yoko barely mirrored her smile, mumbling on about how she'd rather support her and go as friends, but the fairy opened the door with a chuckle, greeted the unknown boy and nudged the vampire into his direction before she closed the door behind them.

The fairy trudged back to her desk and plopped down on her chair with a sigh. She took a look at herself in a little stand-mirror that she pulled out along with a few make up products and jewellery, all of it currently sprawled out all over the table.

The girl stared at her reflection and the glitter on her eyelids, her freckles, her necklace, all the little details she could find. She decided to pin the two front strands back with a little silver clip and deemed her look good enough.

Ivory thought back to the phone call she had with her mom earlier that day to catch up and just chat a little and smiled. She immediately grabbed her phone and sent her mom a picture of herself in the little mirror and stood up, looking for a bag to put some of her make up she used in.

As she tried to close the little purse, that was stuffed with all kinds of random stuff now, her phone let out a row of sounds, alerting the girl of some new notifications. The blonde was almost laying on her desk, trying to read the push notifications while simultaneously trying to clasp the two magnets on her bag together. Ivy was struggling and she was glad Yoko wasn't there to witness it, because she would make fun of her for sure.

She could see her mom's notification pop up and smiled, momentarily loosing her balance, but before she could trip, the magnets on her purse finally let out a satisfying click, letting the girl use one of her hands to balance herself.

"Oh my, Ivy get your shit together", the girl mumbled under her breath but couldn't contain the laugh bubbling up in her chest. It was a ridiculous situation and she would pay money to have seen it from a third person point of view.

The fairy collected herself and finally grabbed her phone to scroll through her notifications, a few of them were from her mom, telling her that she looked gorgeous and that she hoped that Ivory would have fun with her friends, but there was also a recent message from Xavier.
