Sitting in botanics class with Ms. Thornhill the next day was the first time Ivory heard of the Rave'n'Dance at Nevermore Academy. Not gonna lie, she was a bit dissapointed that not even Enid, who straightened up happily at the mention of it, got around to tell her about it. With everything that's been going lately, she couldn't blame her though.

Enid was still immensely mad at what happened with Ajax the night before, but she didn't let herself be sad for long especially with Ivory and Yoko by her side, cheering her up the whole evening. It was now the next day and Enid and Yoko have been giving the boy the stank eye the whole morning, meanwhile Ivory could sympathise with him, feeling his sadness and need to explain. Of course she couldn't tell Enid in her current state though.

They were all sitting in the dining hall for lunch now and Ivory was looking around, searching for a certain raven haired vampire boy.

"I don't think Gideon is gonna show up, Ivy", at the sound of her thoughts being spoken out loud, the girl turned her head to look at Xavier, who was sitting across from her. The girl sighed and gave the boy a pointed look, who then put his hands up in defence.

"Jaesung, sorry...", Enid and Yoko sniggered as Ivory's eyes trailed over to Xavier's neck, where a nasty scratch mark showed under his uniform. A weird feeling crept up on Ivory, one she couldn't quite put her finger on, but her thoughts were interrupted by Enid shaking her shoulder happily.

"Why don't you ask Jaesung to go to the dance with you?", the girl spoke and Ivory furrowed her brows. She didn't think Jaesung was someone who'd enjoy a ball and she hadn't thought of asking anyone to begin with, she didn't even know of it up until a few hours ago.

"Yeah, Ivy, why don't you ask him?", Xavier joined in and smirked at the girl as she tried to lunge for him over the table.

"You didn't even bother to tell me about it and the dance is in three days!", the girl whined and pointed her finger at each of her friends. Xavier chuckled and leant back in his seat while Enid and Yoko felt called out, promising the girl that she still had plenty of time to buy a dress.

"Who are you guys going with anyways?", Ivory asked as she forked up some greens from her salad and chewed on them as she looked around at her friends. Both Enid and Xavier shrugged, while Yoko just casually announced that she'd go with one of the other vampires that Ivory hadn't met up until now. Ivory was convinced that Enid would've wanted to go with Ajax, but she wasn't so sure of it now.

Said boy didn't even show up to lunch, excusing himself by saying he had to pick up books from the library and while Xavier just went along with it, both Yoko and Ivory could see it was because of Enid.

As the four went quiet and went back to eating, Ivory had some time to think about the dance a bit more. She would love to go now that she imagined what the decorations would look like and how fun it could be, but somehow her friends didn't seem as excited as they should be, apart from Enid, surprisingly.

Ivory had two choices on who she could ask for the dance and while the girl was embarassed to do so in the first place, she wasn't sure if any of them would even accept. The first person she thought of was Jaesung, even before Enid and Xavier joked about it. He seemed like the obvious choice since the two were starting to become good friends and he seemed to atleast get along with a few of her other friends, but it didn't seem like something he'd be eager to go to. Ivory didn't want to force him to an outing like that and she didn't want to jeopardize the friendship they had going on.
